I think the artist did that in an attempt to have the Toads all represent certain colours. That's why Bank is Yellow, Mail is Purple, and Toadiko is Cyan.

Also, I'm pretty sure Toadalette is an OC of some kind. I've never seen her before…

(Come to think of it, I think Toadiko might change her cap colours in Car Wash to Cyan from now on to differentiate herself from her sister)
