Superstar Saga by far. Bowser's Inside Story was okay and all but it really didn't capture the feeling the first one had (even ignoring nostalgia). Plus the battle system was just flat out better in SS due to the way bros attacks worked imo

Couldn't say it better myself. I never played Dream Team and above, but Partners in Time and Bowser's Inside Story did have some really good things going for them but didn't quite succeed.

Never finished Superstar Saga, never played Bowser's Inside Story or Dream Team, didn't like Paper Jam, so uh... Partners in Time.

Superstar Saga very slightly edges out Bowser's Inside Story. I'd say the entire original trilogy is solid though, but Dream Team completely lacked the spark they had. Hard to explain it but man do I feel shifting from sprite style was bad.

I haven't played Superstar Saga or Paper Jam, and haven't played enough of Bowser's Inside Story or Dream Team to get proper opinions on them, so Partners in Time wins by default. That being said, I did really enjoy Partners in Time.

Partners in Time easily.

A piece of my soul died when I saw dream team had more votes than it.

Besides the games, what is your favorite Mario-related media?
*The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!
*The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3
*Super Mario World (cartoon)
*Super Mario Bros. (movie)
*Super Mario-Kun
*Nintendo Adventure Books
*Other
*I'm not interested in other Mario media.

Chose the movie just for the heck of it.

Super Mario-Kun, it has arcs based around the RPGs and even has lots of generally underused characters portrayed in a new unique style. I just wish it would get an official English translation.

I don't have any experience with out-of-game material, so I had to put down that I'm not interested.

It is getting translated into French and Spanish, maybe one day we'll receive English versions of them.

I love the Super Mario-Kun. Probably the best Mario-based manga out there. KC Mario is the second best, but I never owned one of these so...

I love this <3 <3

I've only seen The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and the Super Mario World cartoon, and as I have no memories of the former, I chose the latter. Also, memes.

never seen any media other than the games so not interested i guess
although I have been meaning to watch the movie for a while just so i can see for myself what its really like

Honestly I just watched bits of the movie, and while it's literally nothing like the games, if you go into it expecting an average live-action movie with a few game references but not actually being set in the games, it's OK imo.

alright, let's get things rolling for the beginning of the eighth committee! :bowser:

The Mario franchise has touched on different genres throughout its history, which do you like best?
*2D Platformer (Sidescroller)
*3D Platformer
*RPG
*Party
*Racing
*Sports
*Puzzle
*Fighting
*Edutainment (Educational)
*Rhythm
