I don't remember. I very likely searched for something, images or something lame like nothing actually info-related, so I voted the first option. But I don't remember too well. If you asked me when I found the wiki, I'd answer in 2008, but I don't recall what I was doing that led me to the site.

i discovered it from google, the wiki and boards seperately. i know i 100% found the boards via searching for a make your own mario character creator on the internet (none existed btw) and found a fan creations thread for listing your ideas. but of course i didn't follow through with my plan immediately, i let everyone know my birthday first, lol

The first time I remember going on the wiki was probably 2008 or 2009. I remember one of my siblings giving me the exact web address, and then I typed it in. I mainly used it for printing out pictures of characters to cut out and play with. So, I guess I'd say a friend informed me, since my siblings found it first.

Probably a google image search or something, I was thrilled to find a repository of Mario images, especially rare ones not in guides and stuff. I think one of the earliest memories of the wiki I had in mind was Dippy's proposal that mentioned humorous image captions (yes proposals used to be featured in the front page).

I believe that I found it via Google, I mean Bing. Either way, I found it via a search engine. Don't know why, exactly.

I couldn't find some Stars in Super Mario 64 DS in like, 2010-11, and somehow found the wiki that way.

It all went downhill from there.

I found it through The Mushroom Kingdom, which was at that time one of the first Mario fansites to catch on. That website was the first time I learned about Mario, including some interesting tidbits like Doki Doki Panic and Panel de Pon comparisons. I also learned that there exists Mario commercials.

One of their affiliates, if I remember correctly, is Super Mario Wiki, which is how I am introduced here. I don't remember how I stayed, but I think it's this very forums that made me think that this is a cool community. I'm grateful that I found this website, seeing as how TMK is not as popular as it once was.

I think there was a chance I could've been in the school library sneaking on the internet before class started as well, if it wasn't in my designated hour at home. I did often take advantage of those computers since at home I was monitored so heavily and video game related anything was frowned upon so hard that the school librarian was actually more chill about it.

Regardless though, it was probably found by google-searching Dimentio, Count Bleck or possibly Fawful.

How do you feel about Super Mario Odyssey returning to the Super Mario 64/Super Mario Sunshine style of 3D gameplay?
*It's great, Nintendo should continue to stick with this.

i like it and want to see more, but i don't mind the smg2/sm3dl format either.

I voted option one, because I think anything relating to SM64 is fantastic :P But at the same time, I don't want it to be overdone and I'd like to see other strange mechanics (like how they did with F.L.U.D.D. or the Capture) be included.
