Poll time! Like last week's poll, this one was suggested by TheNintendood.

Would you be interested in a Nintendo 64 Classic Edition?
*Absolutely. I would buy it as soon as possible.
*I'm interested, but it depends on the game titles available.
*I would only be interested if it fixes problems I had with the other Classic Edition Consoles.
*I wouldn't be interested in purchasing it if it were made.
*I would rather N64 games were made available through other means, such as the Nintendo Switch Online Service.
*I would rather Nintendo focused entirely on new content.

I'm not, after the utter shitshow that was the NES and SNES Classic availability (it took Nintendo a while to clean up that dreck of a mess)

I'd rather have a good Virtual Console service. Hell, I want a Virtual Console service for the Switch, period.

I voted the first option because I want it to exist, and I know there's going to be good titles for it (unlike a certain other competetor's system). But I likely am not going to be able to get it Day 1.

I am not interested in buying one, even though they do have multiple games. I think it was a cool idea for them, but they didn't meet the demand at first. I heard the Nintendo wasn't going to do a N64 classic, but time will tell. Super Mario 64 seems good to actually play, but I am satisfied with the remake Super Mario 64 DS. And buying a N64 classic just for that game isn't worth it.

I am interested in one, but I feel it should have some titles that have not been re-released before. The first title that comes to mind is Mario Party 3, and I wish Nintendo gave Mario Party 3 another chance at re-release because it is often ignored while Mario Party 2 got re-released. That way more people got to play this version of Mario Party. To a lesser extent, the Mario Artist games could get some release because I felt they aren't really that popular. Outside of Mario though, I guess RARE's games could make the system more attractive.

Thank you for reading.

Option 1. I want an N64 Classic Edition because I want to play Mario 64 with the original controller without paying $100+ on eBay just for a used N64 and a Mario 64 cartridge. Sure, there's the DS remake and VC, but I hear that the game was developed side-by-side with the controller and I'd like to see how it plays that way.

Also get MP1 and/or MP3 there already, don't take the easy way out and stick MP2 on there again.

At least the GameCube controller has been usable for literally four consoles in a row. The N64 controller had to die after only one.
considering the way that monstrosity looked i think thats a good thing

Option 1, because I've heard of how good the N64 games are, and I never even tried them, so I'm looking forward to it.

Why do you hate ingenuity and colorful buttons?

I'd rather just get an SNES Mini first to decide.

So none of the options this time.

hey guys

Recently, Nintendo has been adding content from other Nintendo series to Mario games, such as Animal Crossing in Mario Kart 8. How do you feel about this trend?
*I enjoy it and want to see even more representation in even more Mario games.
*While I like it and want to see more Nintendo series represented, I want it to stay in spin-off games.
*I don't mind it as long as it is add-on content.
*I'm neutral, and don't really care about crossover content.
*I don't want more Nintendo crossovers in Mario games.

Option 1 here. Love me some crossovers.

Just as long as strictly focuses on Mario and doesn't get rid of existing Mario content in favor of other Nintendo content, I'll be okay with it.

I'll go with last option, cause I like the addition of Link in MK8, but they shouldn't bring him or other non-Mario characters back for MK9. I don't want Nintendo Kart, I want Mario Kart.

I'm fine with guest characters appearing in spin-off titles as long as they don't overshadow the 1-Up Boi.

I'd rather they stick to Mario content, at least until said content is more spread across the franchise (as opposed to being mostly concentrated in the main series). Maybe one day if that happens, I won't mind some guests.

It's great to see some Nintendo characters partake in a more active role outside their series, especially if they are more obscure. With that said, I felt that the danger of doing too much is that people are expecting it to be Smash-ified where now the series had to essentially abandon the Mario name and made into Smash, which simultaneously make Smash and the Mario spinoff less special. I'm glad we are in the safe side for now.

Thank you for reading.

I like the idea but...
*With Smash being a fighting game and meant to be a crossover of franchises, I don't think I should be using Smash to base my vote, even though I played it for a short time.
*The only game with a crossover was Sonic and All-Stars racing with various characters not in the Sonic series. But, that's not a Mario game.
*Several games with characters from different Mario sub-franchises crossovers don't count since they're Mario relative.
*I only have the Mario and Luigi amiibos, so I can't count anything with amiibo capability. Even then, it would be hard to say it is a true crossover. An exception to this is that they can be obtained without amiibo, due to amiibo granting earlier access.
So, to get a true opinion on this, I should play a crossover game not meant to be a crossover (like Mario Kart 8 (Deluxe) was). But until then, I don't have a true opinion.

considering mario isnt too great on its own imo i'd love too see more stuff from other series in mario games
what im really trying to say is that i want lucina in mariokart already godsdamnit
