Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions

I'm still sticking with my sarcastic statement.

And I'm still pointing out that it's a flawed one with no bite so have fun with that.

Have this been stated before? I don't know. But...

The place where the original ended is the same as the first in the remake.
Yoshi's Theather

Well, I haven't played it, but I'm going to. I know some spoilers, but not all of them (I think). So the spoiler box is still necessary. Nevermind that I might learn all the spoilers from Ninelevendo's Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions Mafia...

I wonder if they'll put back in the cameos from other Nintendo characters at the cafe instead of it always being E. Gadd.

As big as a battleship.

I can't help but wonder if there are any kids out there who will play this and not realize it's a remake.

It's certainly possible, I played Kirby's Nightmare in dreamland for the GBA and never realized it was a remake till many years later.

I played all three Donkey Kong Country games on the Gameboy Advance and I thought they were the originals when I played them. That is to say, I didn't know they have SNES versions that were truly the originals.

Same here. I also got confused between Super Mario All-Stars being the original Mario platformer game while not realizing the NES versions.

I didn't even know remakes were a thing at all.

I think I was confused by the first three Super Mario Bros. games just because they differed only in number. I just started to know the difference by saying "Super Mario Bros. 1 is that pixelated game", "Super Mario Bros. 2 is that turnip game", Super Mario Bros. 3 is that racoon game.

And Super Mario bros 4 is that bootleg one.

The amiibo functionality is Mario Wave 1 + Bowser Jr and Boo and Goomba and Koopa Troopa.

Also they unlock stamps...

And is absolutely nothing special like I figured.

I feel like stamps is a weird choice with Miiverse shutting down, but I still hope there's a Fawful stamp among others, I'd love some artwork of him in that style :D

I do wonder what gear we'll get out of the amiibos though.

I doubt it will be any good. Odyssey's amiibo support sounds a lot more exciting with Dr Mario and crossdressing.

Wario and Waluigi not supported, a bit of a bummer. I think the small segment on this game could've focused on something a bit more interesting than amiibo. Like more of the Minion Quest story, or even some areas we haven't seen remastered yet (we saw a bit like the Hooniversity but not very much)

I wasn't expecting much, we pretty much know all we need to know about how this game plays, any story bits we can just find out once it comes out in less than a month.

Yup, 20 years of hair fixing!

Gah, they know my weak points too well...
