My former most wanted, Lyn is out of the window, I misspoke when I said I wanted King Boo in the game, I was going to say Ashley for my most wanted.

Well, my top 3 were confirmed as assist trophies (R.I.P) and Ridley was confirmed. I still would like to see Rayman and Shovel Knight, and to a lesser degree King K. Rool and Tetra (though Tetra was secondary to Midna...). I don't really care about Deciduceye or an Arms character anymore (not that I ever cared that much).Czario said:Here's my top ten newcomers list. Characters that are not blue (#7 on down) are ones that I don't want very strongly but I think would be cool.
1. Waluigi
2. Squid Sisters (this is my pipe dream choice)
3. Midna and Wolf Link
4. Shovel Knight
5. Ridley
6. Rayman
7. King K. Rool
8. Tetra
9. Deciduceye
10. Arms Character
But he wasnt shown in the treehouse, or the tournament that happened not too long ago, and hes one of Smashs most prominent assist trophies, so thats a pretty suspicious direction it took. Also, of all the assist trophies you want to show off for being K.O.able Waluigi seems like a pretty particular choice. Sakurai is really aware of the mass popularity Waluigi has gotten, if you remember in the Miiverse when he has shown ow photo of Waluigi in Smash 4 he said Just because you worked hard doesnt mean youll make it. Sakurai probably only added Waluigi in Ultimate in that clip just for his own pleasures and would probably make him playable. But characters cant be playable and an assist trophy at the same time. If you recall the Spirit Track stage you can see Toon Link conducting the train, yet hes playable, they brought back Palkia as a pokeball Pokémon, yet theyre bringing back Spear Pillar. I think it is possible for Waluigi to be an assist trophy AND a playable character lRussian Baby Luigi said:He's an Assist Trophy. That's how it was shown. That's how it'll remain.
Sunshine Yoshi said:Waluigi is not one of the most prominent Assist Trophies. As someone who played two 100-minute battles back-to-back in Smash Wii U, I'll tell you that Waluigi only appeared twice, compared to the 10 or so times that Shadow or Nightmare or Majora each appeared.
If anything, Waluigi is one of the rarer Assist Trophies compared to Shadow, Nightmare, or Majora. Since Waluigi isn't going to be playable, I'll at least hope that they add an Assist Trophy Switch (similar to the Random Stage Switch in Smash Wii U, but with Assist Trophies).
If this happened (it won't, but if it did) somebody needs to bring popcorn to watch the internet storm that would result.Moldomré said:completely removing all traces of Waluigi
