oh im late since i dont check general discussion that often but eyy congrats on becoming rp mod!!!

Good thing. If I'm bored of posting or lurking here, I'll click to read The 'Shroom. I wonder why it hasn't been like that any sooner.

@porplemontage would it be possible to include a table options toggle in the same place that the header/add column/delete column options are that allows us to adjust the border thickness of tables to 0 and the background to transparent, pls?

i.e.
removetheselines

it was a staple of the old forum to have invisible tables and it made for some pretty nice post formatting for awards and stuff

the option for invisible tables exists in sigs, but its strangely absent on some pages, and also this difference was funny

After some internal discussion, we have decided to implement an age restriction.

Effective immediately, we will no longer be allowing people to use the Marioboards if they are under the age of 13.

This policy does not apply retroactively. Anyone who joined while under 13 but has since aged past that will not be in trouble.

Oh dear. I mean, that's good, but will they get a unique notification that they can come back or something?

Out of curiosity what happened that caused people to want the under 13 ban? (I joined just before my 11th birthday which was some time ago but neither BlueBerryBlue or Waffle Dee seemed to really being doing something inappropriate. While only my opinion I feel like you need to see someone do something inappropriate to ban them.)

why do i have a feeling this is my fault

This isn't your fault at all; we already had an age guidance on signing up before you joined the forum. It's just that we got a kick when one of us brought up the fact that, hey we should enforce this because it's better safe than sorry.

yeah well i thought a mod was looking through that cringey thread gamer made (i won't say it's name, i wouldn't wish my worst enemy to look through it) and said, "maybe he was right there is an age restriction" and kaboom

Great now we're like Google, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter with the age limit just to comply with the COPPA. Luckily, this doesn't apply to the Wiki.
