Also note: You need to find Skull Kid at the Clock Tower before you can save at all. Play the Song of Time but if you do you might lose dungeon and side quest progress or you could Play the Song of Soaring and warp to the nearest owl statue and save from there but you can only resume your game from there once. (It's like the Quick Save from New Super Mario Bros Wii).
