What game did you last play?!?!?!?

Fire Emblem: Awakening

I've been mulling over whether or not to play this over the past few days since the direct. I think I'll try and use every person I have this time around, rather than just 20 or so. I chose Classic just because that yellow 'Newcomer' thing on the profile didn't sit well with me. Maybe I'll actually make use of the support stuff this time around.

Chrono Cross

I'm like 6 hours in, I'm in the basement of that mansion (forgot the name lol) after I got trapped and idk what to do.

I really like the battle system now that I've fully understood it.

In fact it may be one of the best battle systems I've ever seen in a game, because it's really balanced and yet has a lot of room for costumization, and the battles are pretty fun.

Fire Emblem: Awakening

Is it just me or is this significantly easier than normal difficulty. Maybe I'm not doing as many hasty decisions. Patience is key. Except for when they have you cornered, then you panic and flip your shit.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

Got to the Marble Gallery.

Fire Emblem: Awakening

Finished the main story.

Firstly, to clear something up, I was on 23 last time, not 22. Sorry if I mentioned anything that would spoil 23 for you. :L Secondly, I finally beat the game! The endgame was difficult at first, but as it turns out, you don't have to use Chrom to defeat Grima if you want that ending, as it gives you a choice after the battle. I know this because my character got 3 crits on him in a row and wrecked him.

At first, I chose the "Chrom finished Grima" ending, though I did end up doing the "NEX±GBX finishes Grima" ending shorty after.

FE:A was gr8 and I wholeheartedly reccomend it. Now I just need to play some other FE games in the meantime before FE14 comes out,

I am not sure what of my games to beat next. I'm very close to beating OOT3D, but I do want to beat one of my games that i'm not too far in yet (there are a lot of these.)

i recommend dishonored. i just started playing it despite owning it for two years. it gives a bioshock type experience, nothing extraordinary but its hella fun.

Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword

Still at Chapter 13x: Merlinus the Peddler. Dorcas was at 2 HP, he dodges a hit with 76% accuracy. Lowen was at 2 HP, an enemy hits him for 1 HP, then another attacks with 72% accuracy. It misses. And then Hector fucking dies to the boss after all my good luck and all the enemies were almost defeated. Honestly I find Eliwood is doing much better. Hector has accuracy problems, speed problems and dodging problems, while Eliwood always hits for decent damage, always twice and dodges everything.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Trying to go for golden exterior, but I keep finding conflicting lists about which items are harmonious. Just gonna wing it and do a selection of both:

Spa on the left, Exotic on the right, Green in the back, Modern Wood for main and maybe a tearoom upstairs

Also I've finally caught the Spider Crab and completed my diving catalouge. yay

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Got this as my Platinum rewards gift on Club Nintendo. After several hours of downloading, I can safely say this blows other 2D platformers out of the water, and I only just beat the first world.

ok so i went with a Spa on the left, Exotic/Bonsai in the back, Green on the right, Modern Wood upstairs, and basically every single piece of harmonious furniture I could cram in the main room. it's looking good

had to time travel a few times so everything that I ordered from the catalouge could be delivered today. Can't wait to get the full HHA score tomorrow. currently I'm on 187900 HHA Points /w the theme challenge so I'm hoping that at least doubles

Fire Emblem: Awakening

yeah okay, now I see why this is hard mode. I had trouble with this chapter even in normal so I can see why I'm struggling now. Thankfully, I can grind a bit now so that I can have a slightly easier time. I think I've attempted it (Ch.5) a few times now but I always seem to die once reinforcements come in. I had one really good run but Ricken died to the last fucking enemy, ugh.

Anybody know if the DLC is worth it, I added up the cost and it's like $80 for the whole lot. It's kind of ridiculous.

Most of it isn't, IMO.

You might want Apotheosis and Future Past (former is ultimate challenge and latter is an actual side story), but to even do either of them you need the Golden Pack (particularly the EXP one) or you'll be grinding for hours.

Everything else are just chapters of varying difficulty, with some giving you a special item (eg. an item that grants an arrow protection skill, or an item that changes your class to one of two powerful DLC classes) that's fairly helpful.

adding on to this, the harvest pack (i think thats what its called anyway) is different from the other DLC chapters since it has conversations between characters. it doesnt really give you any special items or anything and its not particularly challenging so only get it if you feel like you want to see more character interaction i guess

I see. Well, I might get the Golden Pack if I get fed up with grinding against spotpass units. One of the DLC classes being Bride made me laugh; army of waifu's.

Katawa Shoujo
man, I wanted to go with the Rin route since she was my favourite out of all these introductions but it looks like I'd have to say the option that I don't want to; agreeing with Shizune? nooooope.

I'll keep a save for next time when I don't care about the option.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Just beat World 2. Goddamn I must suck. It's only World 2 and the game is already kicking my ass.
