I went with the Lilly route, I want the good ending so I did get a vague guide to help with the choices but it seems like hers is pretty simple in comparison to the rest. It's nice and relaxing to 'play', though it's called a visual novel for a reason.

Chapter 14: False Friends. My Lowen is so lucky. Being attacked by enemy he only does 7 damage to? That's okay, he'll hit him with 45% accuracy and get a 3% critical hit. Compared to Guy who never crits even with a Killing Edge and gets hit by 22% accuracy axes.
 
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Beat World 3. Seemed much easier than World 2. Fuck that jet level though. Annoying to control and not as fun as the minecarts.

This game is a goddamn mess, and because of that, it's actually kind of fun. Tanks are insanely unbalanced, you die in three seconds, the areas are littered with explosive barrels, and there's a nuke weapon that kills everyone... including you. Twice. The Mario Party of car combat games.

After the Maribelle/Ricken mission I haven't had nearly as much trouble, that must've been my Achilles heel. Everyone besides Freddy, Nowi and the healers are level 10 or over but I think I'll wait until Lv20 to reclass/promote. Since I'm going to be re classing everyone a few times for skills I'll hit the stat caps soon enough regardless.

Risen still fuck me up though. I won't grind for Panne or Nowi until I can buy stones. Though, I can always just abuse the surplus of renown awards I have. I must've got 9000 or so just from grinding for so many hours on my last file.

Chapter 9 soon.

I just got Sharla into my party and began chasing the Mechon who did stuff, but seriously, how does one even breathe when you're forced to go through a cave filled with dozens of these bugs?

EDIT: Apparently you're not supposed to, this was the wrong path (of two) and the story memo that told me to leave the road meant later on after following the other one.

in any case base stats are irrelevant because this is awakening and you can grind infinitely. what matters is stat caps

Base stats are actually important with Nah because her paralogue is the hardest of the child paralogues and she can die with lower bases. But no, current stats do mot affect maxes.
