Now I have the full team. I've been trying to get my relationship levels with Gaius and Muzet up. I completed Elize's second episode so now I changed her back to her Xillia outfit. I really liked her Xillia outfit, same with Jude. She's the character with the highest relationship level atm.

The newest paywall was 150k but by the time it was available I was already running around with 224k. This game just bombards you with cash, there's no chance that you'll run out for the main story. I payed off my first million at 27 hours in lol only 19 million to go.

I've got new places to explore again. I think I unlocked the town with the casino. Nice.

Damn I must be so over levelled. One Link Arte chain into a Mystic Arte brought the boss down to 10% health. Then I could've ended it literally right there with Power Ranger Mode Stage 1 but I decided to let it draw out so it wasn't completely disappointing.

I haven't really been grinding either. I think I need to change the difficulty.

I have completed Forsaken Fortress the second time, but I want to do some sidequests, and I want to look for some bottles to stock up on water (for the withered trees).

RIP.

No new areas to explore so I guess I'll just fuck around with searching for materials to make new weapons. I changed the difficulty to moderate. Link Artes -> Mystic Arte -> Power Ranger is no longer OP and it's now possible to lose all your health very fast if you get stunned and trapped near the ring of the area during a boss fight. I like it better this way.

Using Xillia costumes changes the battle music, it's pretty cool. Also if you use their Mystic Arte it shows their Xillia cut-in image.

I must be near the end of the game? I'm getting close to the 40 hour mark which is what Tales games usually hit I think.

edit: That was an amazing boss fight, the music, the boss himself, the setting. I regret saving over my file instead of making a copy so I could do it again. I had a celebration when I finally landed the Mystic Arte that ended the fight. I was very close to losing at one point, made me really miss having Elize on my team to keep everyone healthy.

That boss was a little bit difficult, AI doesn't like guarding it seems, his pattern was fairly predictable after a while and a well-timed guard would keep you safe most of the time. He didn't spam Tetra Spell like the last time so it was more manageable. I'm glad they gave me Gaius, Muzet and Milla for the fight, those three are all pretty great. No Elize made me upset but Muzet is a good healing substitute, I think she has Resurrection as well.

I might give the bad ending a shot, I heard it's difficult and that you should set it to easy difficulty before reaching the point where you choose it. I think I'll try aim for the Chromatus Control trophy too.

and owain and severa. i have no idea why they're in the game, just that they are.

i need fates yesterday pretty much. if fates themes become a thing then i'm totes inigo (or jakob depending)

apparently they went through some portal and landed in nohr, so they become retainers for the nohr siblings, that's what I heard before

There's two DLC missions you can get that explain how those three ended up in the Fates world. You can probably look up summaries on serenes if you're interested, I only skimmed it but I believe it contained major end-game spoilers for at least the third path so don't bother if you don't want that spoiled.

Got the bad ending. Even on easy difficulty I got destroyed three times. Chromatus Mode is the only reason I could win that lmao. It was basically just, run away until it charges, murder as much as possible, repeat again, win.

Well time to get the real endings.
