and thus the only problem left is that i lose too many bombs and lives in stage 4.

the sisters are a true problem

well the last 2 times i fucked up was actually in the stage so lol

Final Fantasy 7

this game is actually even better than i remembered.

I actually even like the graphics now for some reason, probably because i have glasses now and its a lot easier to tell what things are etc.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

I did not remember this game having this much content before the first dungeon. It took me three hours and twenty-nine minutes to enter Forest Temple, and I haven't even finished that yet. Even though this is not my first time playing the game, I still did not remember the game being this massive before it opens up.

That's what turns me off from finishing it. I just want to get into the actual game, not do boring side quests.

Tales of Xillia 2

I'll do the normal ending in the morning, or now? idk. The Final Boss isn't too hard but I don't think Tales games usually have hard final bosses. None I've played at least. The optimal combo is Crimson Fury into Crimson Fury into Crimson Fury into you get the idea. air juggles are killer.

I got so attached to all these characters. Seeing that final cutscene was heartwarming. Maybe it was a happy ending. I'm a little more ok with this. I wish they had a true-er ending than the true one but I can't be greedy. God damn it let me be greedy ;~;

I take it back, the true ending is way happier, give it back.

Xenoblade Chronicles

and then everything was british accents

certainly haven't played a game with a battle system like this so we'll see how it goes
stopped in the middle of chapter 1(?) with shulk and reyn
its ok so far

Xenoblade Chronicles

Certainly a slow start. To be fair I spent like an hour walking around town. It appears this is a game with quests that just seem to be there to kill time so I'm just going to ignore them for the most part.

Also it was no joke that the game has some ugly textures. It doesn't really matter but it's hard not to notice lol. I'm at whatever point having Shulk and Fiora together is. I'll play some more. I don't know when I'll get to fight a tough enemy but I'm looking forward to it.

edit: Well that happened. That was a pretty long prologue kind of thing. Running around exploring is actually so boring yet I keep doing it instead of progressing through the story. Exploring hasn't done jack shit for me. I ban myself from doing so from this point onwards.

I've had to run away from difficult enemies a few times because it's kind of like sometimes no matter how much thought you put into attacking it you won't be able to win unless you have the stats for it. Not sure how I feel about that. Maybe I'm just still used to the Tales gameplay.

Xenoblade Chronicles

I spent more time exploring even though I said I wouldn't. Showed up at some shrine thing and a spider fuck crawled out like 'fuck you and your curiosity' then destroyed me. It takes so long to walk around the smash bros stage, it's so boring lmao. I feel like I'm getting nowhere because of how huge the world is. I'll admit that it drives home that you're living on a giant mech being but it still sucks ass.

I don't like that they group 6+ mechon's together on the path to progress the story, I can kill a few but then I nearly die, run away and they all respawn. It's dumb, I guess they're trying to say I'm not ready for the upcoming boss yet? It's frustrating that I have to grind this early in the game. I figured Lv17 would have been fine at this point.

It's been fun sometimes though, maybe it just hasn't picked up yet, feels like half the time I'm interested and the other half I'm just holding a direction bored out of my mind.

Bayonetta

Thank fuck the Wii U version has reasonable loading times. Now to sell off my PS3 copy.

Xenoblade Chronicles

Easiest way to grind is just to do side quests, usually involving running in circles to fetch blue balls. I got to a level where I just steamrolled everything (lv20) up until the unbeatable boss on the leg. I just entered Colony 6 so I'll do that stuff tomorrow I guess.

Music in this area is getting real repetitive, even if it was great at first. I like the title screen music.

how the fuck can u hate gaur plains
are u mad

also there are many bosses like that which'll come up as you go

It's not like I hate it, but I've just heard it for so long while playing Walking Simulator Chronicles, holding the control stick in a direction, check reddit and still havent got to the place I want to go.

I need a run button or something.

Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade

Finally got around to restarting Chapter 21.

This is possibly the most badass prebattle narration I've ever read in a FE game.

“After surviving many hardships, Roy finally sets foot on Bern’s soil. Guinivere guides Roy to the Shrine of Seals. In their way stands Murdock, the brilliant and stalwart head of the Wyvern Generals. Etruria and Bern, the two greatest forces on the continent begin direct warfare. The sun rises as the bloodiest day in the history of Elibe dawns…”

Xenoblade Chronicles

Got 6 party members. I'll try swapping Reyn out for Dunban, might keep Melia in or try using Riki for a while. Dunban seems like he could be a good dodge tank, I've given him some agility stuff anyway.

i have so much trouble finding my way through this forest that I ended up going backwards at one point.

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros.

I really don't know what I think of this game so far. Some parts, like the intricate normal fights, are interesting, but I apparently called the order of the areas in #mwchat before I could even access them all. Oh well, Doop Doop Dunes is a gem of an area name, so I don't really know what to say. I guess continued playing of the game is going to solve that, but that will have to come later.
