What game did you last play?!?!?!?

I also looked at DLC costs, and man, it's almost as expensive as the base game! But that's not gonna stop me; I'll buy it anyway!
You sure you wanna do that when Ultimate is coming out in less than 2 1/2 months? Though I understand if you want to complete your collection.
It mainly stems from the fact that I can only use my Switch for an hour each day, while I can play Wii U for however long I want. My dad set some play time limits because my younger siblings are Switch hogs, and I happen to have five siblings total, so I never get nearly enough time on my Switch. Until I'm able to buy my own personal Switch one day, I'll never be able to squeeze full enjoyment out of its games.

Not to mention that that Mario Maker stage looks like pure awesomeness, and I can't see it getting into Ultimate. Whether or not I get the fighter bundle, I'm getting that stage bundle for sure.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch)

The more I play it, the more I like it. Breath of the Wild just keeps getting better and better. I beat some more shrines, so now I've beaten 11 total. I also progressed in the story a bit (not sure how to measure how far I progressed, though).

Check the website or wiki YFJ, there are lotsa stages you probably don't know about.

if the player can place blocks, it'd give the gamepad user a ridiculous advantage

How are you gonna play against CPU too? And how are you gonna place blocks while playing?

I guess I never really thought about it. Now that I do...honestly that would never work as a stage.

Paper Mario: Color Splash (Wii U)

Got the first Paint Star in Cherry Lake, as well as the second one in Port Prisma. I got the Plunger and Fan Things as well, and swapped the two cafe guys. I entered the Crimson Tower but can't unlock the gate yet.

Sonic Mania Plus

Beat the final boss and got all chaos emeralds as Sonic. Also started a brand new save file with Mighty. I reached flying battery and already have 4 Chaos Emeralds.

Fate/Grand Order

My 3 Turn Farming team is complete; Arash, Altera and Raikou with support Waver. It works even when there's a disadvantage. Altera is pretty much as maxed as I can make her with my resources right now. Halloween rerun is soon, I've taken it easy this week after burning out on Nero Fest.

Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove (Wii U)

I am currently in the middle of Plague of Shadows, which is a Plague Knight campaign. Basically Plague Knight is one of the Knights, and he is known for throwing explosives. The player can set the explosives to have different properties, so for example, I could make the explosive float in the air, create a wave after explosion and will explode in a short while. Because Plague Knight has an infamous reputation, towns are set up differently, so for example, in the starting town, Plague Knight cannot enter normally and had to enter a secret entrance.

I have currently beaten 4 bosses: King Knight, Spectre Knight, Shovel Knight and Mole Knight. The next in my list is most definitely Treasure Knight, given the structure of the levels.

I have also gotten every single green coin available, and beaten the Hall of Champions. One word of advice when doing Hall of Champions as Plague Knight: collect all the Music Sheets and green coins because after you have beaten the stage, it costs 500 to re-enter and you have to conquer the challenge to keep the spoils. I learned this the hard way that I restarted my game because it was too much effort to do the time trial challenge.

Thank you for reading.

EDIT: By "restarting my game", I mean load my previous save where I haven't beaten the Hall of Champions yet.

Fire Emblem Fates.
I am doing some grinding on my first run I made in the game, which was made a year ago.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch)

I arrived at the tech lab, and Purah offered to fix my Shiekah Slate. However, to get it fixed, I had to complete what is probably the most annoying task in the game. You have to carry this blue flame from a faraway furnace back to the tech lab. You can't run, glide, climb, or switch weapons, because then the torch will go out and you have to go all the way back to the furnace. It's really annoying, but when I completed it, I got my Shiekah Slate fixed. I went back to Impa and completed the quest "Locked Mementos".

Paper Mario: Color Splash (Wii U)

I reassembled the Green Rescue Squad, and collected both Mini Paint Stars. I then went to the Prisma Museum and donated a load of cards. I also fully restored the colors of Port Prisma and Cherry Lake.

you know whats even more bullshit
doing that quest/another similar quest when its raining
damn you nintendo

There's a bit of a shortcut.... throw your torch across the river and get it back on the other side. Saves time.

Nah, as long as you don't put the torch away, the flame doesn't go out. If you simply throw the torch, the flame will still be burning.

Pokemon Silver Version

My clock was set to 3am so it's possible the battery is dying, though it still tracks the time when its turned off I just don't have an explanation for why it was off by 8 hours. I didn't have it in the system for a couple of months so maybe that's the cause. Better for it to die sooner than later once I've traded over evolution stones. It gave me an excuse to rig the times so I could actually play during Morning time for Ledyba. I'm low on Pokeballs and I'm not sure how to proceed. Trying to get Dunsparce on so few pokeballs sounds almost as hellish as trying to find a wild Golduck in Pokemon Red.

I honestly find myself preferring Gen I if only because it didn't have day/night cycles and day of the week specific events. Any QoL changes are nullified by this huge pain in the ass.

Fate/Grand Order

Lunchtime is here, I got Heracles to Bond Level 10 finally. Now he will become the ultimate cockroach in time for the Part I finale. He is the strongest in the world. Raikou hit Bond Level 9 so she will probably be my next max bond servant.

I used an online Wiimmfi patcher to try to play some Wii games online. I tried three compatible games. I tried Mario Kart Wii, but my disc doesn't work, and I have to wait seven days anyway. Mario Sports Mix worked...except I couldn't find any opponents. I checked the online rankings of Mario & Sonic London 2012, but there's no actual online play to speak of. At least I completed that "Top of the World" achievement, which is currently impossible without Wiimmfi.

Pokemon Silver Version

I think I'll just beat Silver first and maybe Crystal before worrying about the pokedex on any of them. Dunsparce ended up showing up after 40 minutes so it wasn't so bad. The clock issue might just be the new battery fucking around a bit, I remember my Gold cartridge deleting my 1 hour save file initially but having zero issues following that.

Beat the first gym. I'll wait until tomorrow to continue.

Kirby Star Allies (Switch)

Soul Melter is so frustratingly hard. I knew it would be harder than Infernal Crisis, but I didn't expect THIS level of difficulty! I like the retro music in the boss fights here, though. But next time I attempt, I'm definitely pulling in my siblings! I also challenged myself to beat some of the easier Ultimate Choice difficulty settings with solo, normal Kirby. I beat Spring Breeze under these conditions.

Mario Party 10 (Wii U)

I didn't do much, but I got a new high score in Bowser Challenge (129 hearts). I also played Jewel Drop--that amazing physics-based version of Tetris--and I can still safely say, over three years later, that it is one of my favorite Mario Party minigames.

Grand Theft Auto V

made an NPC war, was really fun setting people on fire with a flare gun

Fate/Grand Order

This event was made assuming the game had only been out a few months so it's all pretty easy and missions are low cost overall. As long as I get all the copies of Halloween Eli and the CE's then I'll be fine. I've got two weeks to do it so I can just sort of stumble through it for now.

Pokemon Silver Version

I live in a world of Magikarps.

Mega man 11 and the OG Mega man

Kirby Star Allies (Switch)
I finally beat Soul Melter with my brother, and achieved 100% completion at last! That was a lot tougher than I had anticipated, but we beat it at last. I'll share my team here:

P1: Kirby
P2: Marx
C3: Chef Kawasaki
C4: Rick & Kine & Coo
