A ton of stuff happened. I went to Mt. Itoi with Teddy, and got lost. After I've died I decided fuck it and opened a map of the place. After I went through there the enemies started getting insanely fucking OP (looking at you Grizzly Bears), but I managed to get to the Healer's house. I managed to trigger the cutscene where my party gets killed and I GET LLOYD BACK BECAUSE OP THINGS IN RPGS NEVER LAST LONGER THAN 5 MINUTES.

Since I was appearently supposed to go back to that Mountain I had to grind Lloyd a lot, but I've eventually managed to get back up there with speed 1000x

Found EVE in the lake, even more OP things.

I also got all the OP weapons and the Sea Pendant btw because I'm amazing.

After going up the mountain for some more I found that Robot who attacked and killed the party earlier, now it destroyed EVE but the explosion also killed him. Yay

Got Melody 5/8 from EVE

After gong through a little more mountain and almost dying again from the OP enemies found the gravestone and melody 6/8

Since that was a dead end and I only knew where one more melody was I decided to fire up a guide, and I've missed a melody in the desert (which was probably what DF meant).

The only other one I'm missing is the melody from the Dragon and then I got 8/8, maybe I'm finally beating this game today.

Wowo you are proggressing through this game so much faster this run than I did. Also yes, if you can collect all 8 you should be able to beat it today.

Also yeah I died against the dragon because he spammed PK Thunder r but I got the melody from the desert.

Beat the Dragon, learned the 8 melodies, Magicant vanished, went to the final boss Gigue, beat his sorry ass (was a pretty cheap fight all you had to do was heal and sing all the time), and the credits roll

those credits somehow reminded me of the credits roll in smrpg/paper mario/ttyd/sticker star where they show all the characters again at the end

Also Producer Shigeru Miyamoto lul

Until the last dungeon (Mt. Itoi), basically nothing happened in the main story lol.

But yeah else the story was cool I suppose, although the aliens have never said what they even wanted to do in the US.

ALSO MOTHER = LINK'S AWAKENING
 
In my opinion Mother and Zelda I have the best 8-bit title themes.
 
-In both games you collect 8 Melodies
-In both games a major place vanishes after you play the full song
-And both games are a little strange

I personally think they are good, but Mother 3 is by far best.
 
also mother 3 is far more strange then the previous two

mainly enemy designs

although the best enemies are those ash puff balls you can fight
 
just go play mother 3 already and see what im talking about

besides mother 1 and 2 are just massive jokes compared to it

in every aspect

If you can handle darkness. This is BY FAR the darkest Nintendo game EVER.

and besides smt games are WAY darker
