Did the scoreboard for the local football game.

Re: today did you things noteworthy

I've got a fine, for biking where it's not allowed.
Then my mother called, spoke in Polish to her, and got another fine for speaking in a language the officer doesn't understand.

Edit:
Prevent idiocy, thanks for the tip, YoshiKong.

Yep, welcome to Europe, where you pay for every possible thing.

Re: today did you things noteworthy

They should start actively collecting fines for not stopping in front of a crosswalk when people are there. The traffic laws say you are required to let people across the street on a crosswalk, yet nobody ever does it. The state would get filthy rich in no time.

Re: today did you things noteworthy

Lakituthequick, I actually don't understand why that law exists, that's actually a racist law, especially because lots of East-European people can't talk in any other language than their native language, and maybe Russian and German.

Re: today did you things noteworthy

Used 2 movie quotes on some freak girl trying to flirt with me.

Well, apart from that, sometimes there are terrorists and stuff that talk to accomplices in a strange language which is damn suspicious.

Re: today did you things noteworthy

So what?
If I'm talking to somebody in Polish, because he or she understands and/or speaks it more properly, then I do that without even thinking about it.
And in this 21 years of life, I was never suspected to be a terrorist.

I didn't imply that. It can be very annoying for the innocent.

Just listen to Professor Oak and don't bike at the wrong place.

Re: today did you things noteworthy

I thought it could be a measure against insulting officials without them realizing. Over here, insulting an official is against the law.
