What's wrong with Wall-e?
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, WALL-E is my favorite movie of all time, in fact, I sometimes go as far as to say it's the greatest movie Pixar's ever made! Like I said before, I was referring to the Transformers live action movies.

Hello Smashgoom. Would you like to be murdered in a violent fashion!?!?
The Transformers movies sucked, don't deny it.

First Live-Action Movie: 8/10
2nd: 6/10 (okay, that one did suck)
3rd: 8/10
1986 Animated movie: 100/10 BEST MOVIE EVER. WATCH IT UNTIL YOU LEARN RESPECT.

I like all the transformers movie

and i have the 1986 one on dvd

better than the micheal bay ones

the only bad part in the 86 one is

Optimus dies again wahhh

1. You are an amazing person.

2. VHS is better; it had the original opening song.

3. see 1

4. That was my favorite part. Sure it was sad, but it showed just how deep a cartoon could be.

EDIT: My actual favorite part would be any part with Unicron in it.

I just saw The Artist. I thought it was a good movie. I enjoyed it, I had fun, mostly because a lot of people were there in the theater, and to me, more people = more fun at the movies. The fact that it's silent means you actually have to PAY ATTENTION to it, unlike other movies in which you're required to turn off your brain to enjoy it. I like the various gags they had, including the one with the dog playing dead, and the clever sound effects gag near the end, like what MovieBob said in his review here:

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/escape-to-the-movies/5192-The-Artist

Hell, even the ending was pretty clever. All around a good movie!

Oscar worthy? Well, since I only saw this and Hugo, I can't be too sure... I enjoyed it, yeah, but I don't know if it truly deserves to win an Oscar, either.

I think Wall-E is the best too.

The Secret World of Arrietty

I love it

I saw the trailer. It looked awful, but I shouldn't judge a movie by the trailer, I guess.

Personally, I don't think it's not as great as the old Studio Ghibli films but it is up there.

I have just finished watching Across the Universe on iTunes.

Simply amazing.

Just over an hour ago I returned home from "The Lorax" at the MJR Southgate Digital Cinema 20. It was the 11:00 showing, in auditorium #12. I noticed a Donkey Kong reference in the movie! The auditorium around me was pretty crowded!

And going off-topic, while driving home, I went near the Fort-Grove Shopping Center and noticed that the Chicago Pizza & Pasta restaurant (next to the recently-closed Ponderosa if anyone is from that area) and noticed it closed too!!

I was babysitting yesterday, and the kid wanted to watch a movie called "Spooky Buddies" (one of those movies about the five little dogs). I thought it was pretty stupid.

I saw Thor last night with my family, and my younger sister's boyfriend. He's NEVER seen a Marvel movie before, so I tired to shut up and let him enjoy. To everyone else, I kept pointing out cameos, references, and continuity nods throughout the movie.

Sounds stupid.

I saw "The Lorax" earlier today. It was quite good, and it also had its fair share of humorous moments.

Anything like the book?

Well the movie gives you a more in-depth story on the events that happened after the Once-ler destroyed the Truffula forest. Obviously, you'll have to see the movie yourself, as I'm not going to spoil the details.

The trailer pretty much already did that for you.

Just came back from seeing John Carter with my dad. He said it wasn't particularly "deep", but it was a good action movie with good effects and such. I guess that's what I thought, too. It may seem cliche at the time, but then again, people seem to eat up all kinds of movies that are just "okay", so I highly recommend it to people who'd like a good 3D experience... Just be prepared to take down a lot of science fiction mumbo jumbo and alien names.

Why is it being advertised as being before Star Wars and Avatar (I don't quite get that vibe from the trailer)?
