No, I take Spanish and Feliz cumpleaños is the correct way to say it.

You do realize that adjectives come after the nouns in pretty much every language other than English

And my Spanish teacher (who is from Venezuela) said it was Cumpleaños feliz.

We also say "We hebben een grote TV." (We have a big TV.), rather than "We hebben de TV groot." (We have the TV big.).
