Remember that time when someone on the localisation team for Mega Man X5 went "wouldn't it be a good idea if we named the Mavericks after members of Guns N' Roses" and then we got Duff McWhalen.

A few Smash related thoughts:
-I'm pretty sure the new Smash update added songs to the Smash series list. I swear you couldn't use Final Battle: After The Transformation before now.
-If we can get Battlefield but it's missing a platform, can we get Final Destination but without the ambience? It's way too loud on that stage.
-Why are there three separate random buttons now? If they all had separate sections on the random stage select, then it would make sense, in fact I'd be happy with that as it means most of my rulesets can merge into one, but it doesn't, so why is there two separate slots taken up for something that could already be done by pressing X?
-Can the ability to play any song on a stage be put on all of the stages instead of four of them? Thanks.

Did you know Past music in Sonic CD is sequenced? It's a nice touch to the music that makes sense thematically. It's also probably the reason that the past music isn't changed for the American release of the game.

Listening to the Soundtrack for Minecraft outside of the game is such a weird experience. There's so many little details to these songs that I've never noticed before, making them feel familiar, yet new at the same time. I feel like I've built up an idea of what these songs sound like after hearing them so much, yet after not hearing them for long enough, what I expect to hear is different from what I am hearing. It's almost as if there's a version of these songs that only exists in my head. It's comforting yet unusual at the same time, a sense of nostalgia that's not fully there.

I finally managed to complete a Time Trial on Drive-Thru Danger in CTR:NF. I fell off the track towards the end, but thankfully I still managed to just about beat the N. Tropy time by 37 seconds with a time of 2:13.

Which is also seven seconds ahead of the N. Oxide time.

And two seconds behind the Velo time.

So now I need to do what I just did again, twice, to beat the N. Tropy and N. Oxide times, and then do it a third time without falling off to beat the Velo time.

I probably should've posted this earlier in the day, but I'd just like to say that it's my Birthday today.

The first 40 seconds of this song is incredibly similar to Metal Scratchin' from Sonic Rush, which makes sense considering they're both by the same person (Hideki Naganuma/skankfunk).

I've listened to all of the ARMS music in Smash, and I have to say it really isn't that good. I'd give it a okay-mediocre, with a majority of the songs leaning towards the latter. It's not bad, but it's not good either, with none of the songs standing out that much.

I just realised Mr. Krabs has a nose, and now I've stopped liking how he looks.

All three of these include songs from games which have not received album releases on streaming services. The last one is particular annoying as many of the songs aren't in full, have been edited, and have parts of other songs mixed into them, yet it has the most unreleased songs out of all of the albums.

So to add onto the list of games they have the music for, have released songs from, but won't release the album for we have:

Sonic Generations (Vol. 2 & 3)
Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games (!)
Sonic Spinball
Sonic 3D Blast (Genesis)
Sonic Rush Adventure

The games with '(!)' are probably not on the platform due to copyright, but the rest they should presumably have no issue releasing. In fact I know there isn't an issue for some of these songs, as two of those albums (Rush Adventure, and Generation Vol. 2) were previously available, and Sonic Mania is actually available on iTunes. I managed to find a link for Sonic Rush, which means it's still up from when it was on these platforms, but not listenable. From some comments I've read on Hideki Naganuma's Twitter (which is actually how I found the link), Sonic Generations Vol. 2 and Sonic Rush are actually still available in Japan, so I can only assume the same applies for Sonic Rush Adventure.

I've now decided that James Pond should be in Smash.

Frosties (or Corn Flakes with sugar on in general) I feel are a bit overrated. They just taste like cardboard most of the time, which gets rid of the flavour of Corn Flakes, removing the most appealing aspect of them. Crunchy Nut is the superior variant of Corn Flakes in my opinion, and one of the best cereals.

Will Smith/Men in Black is the most underrated contestant in both SiIvaGunner: King for a Day tournaments.
