    I still really dislike stinky tofu after trying it

    To me, it smells horrible (I'd describe it like a rank sewer) but after eating it, it tastes like tofu being left out on the sun for days. You also smell it for a little bit while you're eating it. Blegh. Everything else was pretty damn good though.

    They aren't jackasses that's for sure.

    Looks like magellanic penguin (file name suggests it) due to the head and belly patterning (humboldt's white head ring connects with the belly; magllanic's head ring is confined to just its head; magellanic looks like it has an "extra" black stripe)

    I went to go see them when I was 5 and just now remember I got a plush of them there. It's nowhere to be found now :sad: .

    When they made weird noises my mom told me they were talking and I spread that knowledge to my classmates. They believed me 👍 .

    I always thought Penguin Mario just looked ridiculous. The penguin aesthetic does fit Mario: round, silly, cute in overalls, looks good in a suit and top hat. Penguin Suit is a natural fit for Mario.

    Mario ain't hairy though. He just has facial hair, a full set of hair, and eyebrows, and that's the extent of his hair. It's established now that Mario absolutely lacks hair on his body.

    I uhh never get anxious on elections (my country is used to disaster) but, if it makes you feel good, the guy I voted for I thought he could possibly win and only got 1-2% of the votes.

    New Super Mario Bros. Wii doesn't supply much Penguin Suits outside of World 3, World 4, and one level in World S, to be fair, but that's still an adequate amount for an entire game. Propeller Suits are just common throughout New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Anyhow, it's kinda a thing how Mario games like to advertise new powerups, but just put them in like three levels out of 80 levels. Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 are particularly heinous offenders.

    Yes, but you could regularly get both Propeller and Penguin via any Toad House in NSMBWii as well. In NSMBU, they're exclusive to those four Toad Houses in Superstar Road and never appeared in a level (at least, I don't think they did). Kinda like the UFO ability in Kirby: Planet Robobot--a fan favorite, but by the time you get it you'll already have seen everything else the game has to offer.

    Well in that case, it seems like Propeller and Penguin suits, I think they're meant for the challenges and a bit of a callback to New Super Mario Bros. Wii. They want to focus more on the Baby Yoshi and the Flying Squirrel Suit, I figure. Still, they had that opportunity and blew it.

    They make all these anniversary promotional materials for Mario platformers but why do we not ever have the grand book of everything Mario Party? Heck, where's the Mario Kart and Mario Golf anniversary stuff????

    Mario Kart Tour celebrated its 1st anniversary. Mario Kart may do a thing in 2022.
    Mario Party is just Mario Party. The closest thing right now to a anniversary title is The Top 100 on 3DS.
    Mario Golf doesn't have a big fanbase like Tennis.

    The mention of Mario Kart not being celebrated is odd, given how often it is celebrated. For example, Super Mario 3D World has a level themed around Mario Kart, and the Super Mario 35th video took care to include Mario Kart alongside. In terms of promotional materials, maybe there isn't much but it has plenty of spotlight such as that one time Google put Mario Kart on Maps.

    I may not be into merchandising, but Mario Party sounds like a pretty good idea, given how many minigames there so that's a lot of material there.

    As for the circle disappearing, it's a blind spot test. We all have a zone in our eyeballs where there are no sensory receptors (rods and cones), where the nerve fibers are connect to the retina. Only the octopus doesn't have a blind spot.

    Yes this apparently wasn't discovered until 16th century France. That's a lot of time in human history to figure that out...

    I feel there's a weird sense of irony that in Smash Bros., I turned Mario, a normally silent protagonist, into a man that won't shut the hell up about marvelous 3DS tech functions and Sports Mix Press conferences.
