I'll hopefully be getting this game sometime soon, and I can't wait to play it.
It's easy for the first few worlds but then it gets challenging. And the controls take a bit of getting used to.

Is this official artwork?? Someone on the wiki found them and he wasn't sure if they were official so I wanted to see if any of you thought these artworks are official.

I feel stupid, I got to Special World 6 before I realized I could sprint.
You must be joking it's not possible. You could not have beaten the final boss (regardless of skill level, because it is not possible. That's like saying you beat the game in ten minutes; it's not possible, regardless of skill) and those special levels that start off with 30 seconds and you gotta look for ten second timers= ITS NOT POSSIBLE

Most of the time I rolled to substitute.

Beat Bowser today. The game totally drain my battery since I got it on Saturday. The final stage was awesome if not a bit cliched and the Special worlds, so far, are like a love note from Nintendo.

I'm actually beating this game rather quickly... Of course, I haven't collected all the medals yet, but I'll go back and get them after I beat the game.

I did not go to the next level without all the Star Coins.

CAN SOMEBODY PLZ TELL ME HOW TO KNOW WEATHER OR NOT YOU'VE BEATEN A LEVEL AS LUIGI? I CAN'T KEEP TRACK! Do you have to get the top of the flagpole again as luigi?! And please don't send some stupid link that doesn't answer the question!

Bottom right corner. There should be a Luigi emblem, Mario Emblem, and a golden flagpole. If one of those are missing, then you need to fulfill the requirements (i.e. if the L emblem is missing, beat the level as Luigi, etc) And no, you don't need to get on the top of the flagpole.

Edit: On the subject of help, I cannot find the final star medals in Special 6-5 and Special 8-3. Those are the last ones I need.

The final star on this level is all the way at the end, next to the door, there are those three coins by the wall. if you jump up to get them you'll hit a hidden block, jump on top of those, and continue until you reach the top.

As for Special 8-3, the last one is on the left just before the lava. Have a huge cone crash into one of the pillars BEFORE you hit the switch. You'll find it on the upper-right.

Just got mine 8) Got right into World 4 in one sitting, (where it took much longer to get that far for SMG and NSMBW). Figured it must get tougher later on, else everyone would be screaming if it were that easy.
Still, nice to be able to just have fun and not be so frustrated trying to advance.
I find the controls to be easy (I always liked thumb pads over buttons). It's also much easier to navigate the waters than the Wii controls for SMG2.
