The textures for NSMBMii were reused for Mario, I think
I don't think NSMBMii is an actual game since on a on the floor E3 review by one of the workers of Nintendo say it was just an altered NSMBWii for the Wii U to show on the demo.

Change Wii 2? to Wii U?

No, it was never called "Wii 2" at Nintendo, so they didn't change anything.

I believe he's suggesting someone changes the thread's title to "Wii U". If not, then I am suggesting this. ;)

Re: Wii 2?

I agree. It's called Wii U, not Wii 2

Re: Wii 2?

The topic creator can change it.

Thanks. A more appropriate title.

I saw the concept video again. I just hope it's better than the Wii

Oh it will be. Nintendo usually makes their consoles better than the last

I think he means in terms of available games.

But the thuing is, Nintendo has been doing bad on 3rd party support, and not alot of good games have come through that source. They need the best 3rd party developers on their side and then they will have good 3rd games

Wrong!
It's developer's choice to join the Developer Programs of Nintendo, and it's Nintendo's choice to agree with it or not.
It has nothing to do with their support, they've even fixed these issues with the 3DS and Wii U, it's more because many developers either didn't join the DS and/or Wii program, because their hardware was all bad, and sometimes considered expensive.

For example, Apple is just 79 Euro's per year, per program (Safari is for free), Microsoft has free programs, but you can also pay an additional license for better support and stuff like that.
Nintendo costs between 2.000 and 10.000 Euro's per program (depending on the size of your development team), so if you join the 3DS program, you pay 3.000 Euro's for one Debug and Capture unit, 8 Euro's for a flash card, and an additional 400 Euro's for a development console.
Once you've got that, you'll not have any access to the Wii U program, unless you pay money for developing on the Wii U.

Be glad, Sony is yet even more expensive.

Well not it's obvious the Wii U is going to be made. It would've been cool is NSMBM was released as a real game.
I don't want it. It's a Mario game, not a Mii game. I rather have New Super Mario Bros. Wii U, without miis, just Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad, and Yellow Toad.

Well if they presented it on the E3 then it has to come out, because they have already released it to the public, and if they dont make it their publicity goes down and they are trying to earn money. And i doubt that its gonna have 3d because they did not announce it

It was just a demo for people to get the feel of Wii U. It's not official that it will be released

What about the controller? It looks bulky to me, but I heard it's actually pretty comfortable. What do you think of it?

I like the looks of it
