Actually, it supports two of those new controllers. It'd be cool to see some 6 player games, with Mario Kart or Mario Party.nabber said:One thing I am annoyed about: one controller. Sure, you can play with Wiimotes, but without the 2 joysticks, multiplayer is limited to online.
I haven't heard about that. Well, even if it does, the controller is kind of too expensive to buy another. A friends would have to bring over one.Lubba said:Actually, it supports two of those new controllers. From what I've read, they're trying to enable support for two controllers.

The wiki is a wiki. It can be updated by anyone.

YamiHoshi.nl said:Nintendo has send us more info about the Gamescom 2011.
They'll be showing Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, Luigi's Mansion 2, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Rhythm Heaven, Kirby Wii, and Zelda: Skyward Sword.
These games were all available at Nintendo's Post E3 Event too, plus more, but the difference is: Everyone will only have a total time of 1 hour and 30 minutes, vs the 3 hours at the Post E3 Event.
Why do I post it in this thread?
Because they've also said that the Wii U is not playable at the Gamescom, so yet again, I won't be able to get my hands on the Wii U.
But I think Nintendo will have another Event in 2012, which will feature the Wii U, so that's pretty much the same as 2 Events about the 3DS this year (one in January, and one in February).
