Yeah, but I keep thinking of the DS, just supersized. It's really just a blend of concepts: 2 screens, motion controlls, and HD. It still looks like it'll be fun.

And in regards to NSMBM, it might be packed in with the U as a bonus similar to how Portal was packed with the Orange Box.
 
No, I hate Mii's! They should have stuck to Mario Sports
 
Well, looking back on it, Wii Sports was kind of underwhelming. I'd rather have a full-fledged :mario: game than Wii U Sports. Then again, Wii Sports was also like a tech demo, showing off the capabilities of the Wii, so Wii U Sports would be interesting.
 
Good point. Then again, 3DS had Face Raiders and AR games, which were cool, but were pretty short and didn't have much replay value. And now I start thinking about the price: how expensive will this thing cost? Sony and Microsoft are both selling to a loss, so if Nintendo doesn't do the same, they may lose yet another game war.
 
I don't think they could do that. Too expensive. I think that they would HAVE to sell it at a loss. No other way. Otherwise, they wouldn't sell very well. Luckily, they have good 3rd party support this time. Battlefield 3, Arkham City... Gears of War director said he wanted to get his hands on a U too.

If that guess turns out to be correct, it'll cost as much as an average MacBook Pro here in Brazil.
 
How much did the Wii cost in America on launch day? We could add 50-100 USD to that price.
 
I kinda want that Ninja game that they showed on the concept trailer. Also I bet this could have backwards compatabilty to the handheld systems like the Gamecube or the SNES
 
I understand that, but would it have a Virtual Console shop?
 
I hope the Wii U will be available during the Gamescom 2011, so I can try it out myself.
If not, then I could at least see it.

At the previous year's Gamescom, there were 3DS's shown, but only shown, so I'm not sure about the Wii U.
 
What games do you want to see for the Wii U? I think Mario Kart would be AMAZING on it.
 
I was thinking. With Mario Kart, there would be HD. Also, the new controller could provide a lot of depth. For instance, there could be an item that you would have to fling onto the screen with the controller, or scrub away goop. Not to mention kill cams. :)
