Wii U

ToxBox, you can only change it, by logging into the Router.

Lakitu, I never used Wii U Chat, so I don't know.
I'm actually afraid of using it.

Meanwhile, to answer Question 2: Yes.

Updating my console now.

My TV stand just got in, so I finally could hook my Wii back up.

Got my Wii Sensor sitting on top of the Wii U one. :P

It worked out very nicely actually.

I did the same thing with mine, but the opposite way around.

I also connected my Wii U's HDMI into my Surround Sound System, so now I can play games and play videos in surround sound!

I was also surprised that the HD quality was so good. My old Wii could not handle the size of my TV (83 inch) so it stretched the whole thing, making this uneven look. Wii U fixed that with HDMI.

You know what was scary s***? When I did the system transfer, I didn't have the sensor bar plugged into the Wii but only the Wii U, and when I see the controller for the Wii, somehow it was working using the Wii U sensor, though nothing was connecting Wii or Wii U. I flipped out, wondering how in the world that happened. Maybe the Wii U sensor bar has some special ability?

There isn't anything like a Wii U Sensor bar, even the bar itself confirms it's a Wii Sensor bar.

The Wii Sensor Bar is only this:

It has not a single abilily, except emitting IR-light, the Wiimote does all the magic.

I don't get why people were saying that Wii games looked bad (or not as good anyway) on a HD TV.

I mean, I put it Skyward Sword, and it looked perfectly fine.

To me, they look exactly the same.

Says the person without a Wii U.

The gamepad has to be in a certain range of the Wii U. But some people bring the wii u places and just plug it in somewhere without a tv and play a game like NSMBU that you can see on the gamepad. Pretty sweet idea if you ask me.

So I guess that's a no...?

Well, it was never a portable console. It's just a wireless controller.
