So, yeah, ANOTHER documentary. This one is about Brony music, and will take place primarily in Everfree Northwest:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/659165156/music-is-magic-a-documentary-on-brony-music

Speaking of the documentaries. It's amazing how much money was raised for the one being made by the triad of John Delancie, Tara Strong, and Lauren Faust. Over 33,000 on the Kick starter plus a few thousands more from Paypal. And is the 2nd highest funded project on Kickstarter ever.

Whether you agree or disagree if it's necessary or not. It's happening.

@Jeff: Kinda old news. But I must say I'm still not much of a fan of the theme song. Don't get me wrong. It's not like it's the worst thing in the world. but I kinda feel like that for some people when they decided to try out the show. They saw the cold opening, may have even been amused a little at the joke or liked what a character did at the very beginning. But as soon as they hear that "My Little Pony" jingle play from the opening they're like "Screw This" and stop watching. I've gotten used to it especially in Season 2 (Because at least you can catch Derpy derped in the train on every episode of Season 2 except for the Return of Harmony 2 parter which is hilarious) but it still bugs me sometimes.

Why am I always one step behind everyone else? >.<

I like the theme song, but I can't blame you for not liking it. I have a couple of theme songs from my favorite shows I don't like.

By the way, I MIGHT change my avatar to either Pound and/or Pumpkin in the future.

I have a tendency to skip the intro if possible. I don't hate it by any stretch of the imagination, but it is the "girliest" aspect of the show by far.

It's my understanding that you're relatively new to the fandom, yes? You might want to check Equestria Daily for the latest goings on and various whatnot from around the community.

I meant in general, not just this show. But much obliged 3K.

I'm finally gonna watch the next episodes that I missed out on. I got to watching episode 12 or 14, then right through to episode 17. :D

Awesome Neptune. You need to post what you thought of each and every episode you missed. There's quite some neat moments in Season 2. I can't wait until you get to the 2-parter Finale.

Ok, so I managed to watch them all by last night.

Episode 12 - Family Appreciation day: Though I'm not a big fan of the CMC, I have to admit, this was a good episode. I really liked the story Granny Smith told, about how she helped find Ponyville and the Zap apple trees. I also like how Diamond Tiara pretty much got owned in this episode. She's a bitch.

Episode 13 - Baby Cakes: Didn't find this episode very good, but that's probably because of the fact that I myself am no good with babies. Frankly, they make me well up if I'm with at least one alone for about an hour or so. Frankly, I don't understand how Pinkie Pie managed to do it for a whole evening! But it was quite good.

Episode 14 - The Last Roundup: Can't remember much of this episode; I had to look at some images before I completely recognised it. So I guess I liked this episode better than the previous episode, as it was slightly more adventurous. I loved Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy at the cherrie sorting machine, that made me laugh. xD Also, DERPY TALKED IN THIS EPISODE HOW COOL WAS THAT. I watched the first version where she talks with her "Derpy" voice rather than her edited voice.

Episode 15 - The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000: I liked this episode mainly because of the mention of my favourite beverage. Mmm. I liked the brothers in this episode (can't remember their names though  ) and I was pretty much on the edge of my seat for the competition part of this episode.

Episode 16 - Read it and weep: Good episode. I like how RD says that people who read books are "eggheads", I hope that doesn't apply to readers of the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit series. Overall brilliant episode. Like I said, I do like adventurous episodes, and though RainbowDash spent most of the episode in a hospital bed, the adventure she goes on while reading the book is pretty well said. Very Indiana Jonsey type episode.

Episode 17 - Hearts and Hooves day: This episode literally made me "D'awwwww" and bob up and down in my seat. Big Mac x Cherilee. <3 Anyway, this episode was probably one of the funniest episodes, as well as the "It touched my fucking heart" episodes too. I liked how Big Mac can pull a whole house here, but in MMMystery on the Friendship Express, he has trouble moving a cake. Still, an epicly funny episode nontheless.

Episode 18 - A friend in deed: This episode also touched my fucking heart. The way that Pinkie tries and tries and tries to connect with Cranky, with no result was really sad, and then when she brings him his lost love, and they finally become friends, really gave me a feel. Loved it.

Episode 19 - Putting your hoof down: Ahh, the Fluttershy based episodes. This one was rather "unlike Ponyville" shall we say? In previous episodes, I haven't ever seen any really mean pony who shoves in front of people in queues before. But this episode was pretty good. Minotaurs are my favourite mythical creature, and this one Minotaur was pretty damn awesome. I like how throughout the episode, all Iron Will wants is his money, and then when he finally gets to Fluttershy, she owns him. Angry Fluttershy ftw.

Episode 20 - It's about time: I realised that I had already seen this episode before, so I thought that there wasn't really any point in me watching it again. But I remember it enough to give a pretty good review of it. Poor old Twilight, panicking about something she doesn't know will happen. That's what happens when you mess with time, you crazy little pony. I haven't seen Twilight this worked up since Lesson Zero.

Episode 21 - Dragon Quest: Spike's crying. I can't stand this. *bang* Nah, this episode was very good, because, like I said, I love adventure episodes. Those older, teenage dragons picking on the smaller baby dragon reminds me of my youthful years. Always being picked on by the bigger guy. This episode really made me connect with Spike (and that's now in two ways, thanks to Rarity), and I like the ending, where he keeps the Phoenix Egg. I realised that this wasn't the first time we saw a phoenix in the show. Princess Celestia has (or had) a phoenix in the show. Also, in this episode, the costume that Rarity makes is hilarious, and the fact that other dragons think it was a relative of a similar looking dragon. xD

Episode 22 - Hurricane Fluttershy: Good episode. Fluttershy finally has the courage to over come those stupid laughing fillies back in the old days. I can't really say much more about this episode, other than the fact that I loved that strange white pegasus who kept yelling "YEAH!!" throughout the episode.

Episode 23 - Ponyville Confidential: Yet another CMC based episode. I liked this episode too. There were some laughs in this episode, and some sad bits, such as when the CMC are hated by their friends and family for the things they posted in the newspaper, until they apologize and reveal Diamond Tiara as the one who forced them to publish the horrible stuff. How did she even become head writer anyway?!

Episode 24 - MMMystery on the Friendship Express: This episode I could predict thoroughly. I really loved this episode, as it was a massive reference to "Murder on the Orient Express" by Agatha Christie, where the murderer is actually the other 13 passengers. Pinkie calling the cake "Mmm" was hilarious, and when Twilight and Pinkie teamed up to make a Sherlock and Watson type duo (even with the hats, how cute). I was actually expecting Applejack to have eaten them all by the end, but (I think) she, apart from Pinkie and Twilight, was the only one who didn't eat anything. Overall, a fantastic episode.

Episode 25 + 26 - A Canterlot Wedding: This was a very good episode (I watched a video with both episodes put together). The first part was looking rather promising, with Twilight's brother and her childhood friend getting married, but when I found out that Cadence was evil, I was like GOD NO THIS CAN'T HAPPEN. You don't know how relieved I was when Twilight found the real Cadence. It was very sad when Twilight was cast out by her friends, her brother, her baby dragon, and her mentor all at the same time. But when she revealed the real Cadence, I was like "YEAH YOU'D BETTER BE SORRY!" Now about the changelings, I was expecting something a bit more climatic, with like Luna and a couple of other pegasi-unicorns come flying in like planes and zap all the changelings back to hell, but SHE WAS GONE THE WHOLE GODDAMN TIME. So when Cadence and Shining Armour did their thing with the spells and that, though I was disappointed with the climax, the wedding near the end made up for it, especially when Shining Armour revealed that the main reason that Cadence accepted his proposal was that she knew Twilight would be her new sister. Epic Feel, my friends. Epic Feel.

Overall, my favourite episode would possibly be A Canterlot Wedding, due to it being quite epic and climatic near the end. Overall a very good season.

Well the reason Luna wasn't there was because she's nocturnal as far as we can tell. Also good point there, that Big Mac can lift a house but not a cake. Reminds me how Tex couldn't lift a bomb but lifts and throws trucks and all other kinds of things in later seasons.

It's not about lifting the cake. It was about balancing the cake.

And awesome Neptune. I'm glad you enjoyed all those episodes. Especially Canterlot Wedding.

You know, after I finished watching the final episode, it was around about midnight, so it was time to go to sleep for me. But I couldn't stop thinking about My Little Pony, and about how I'm gonna miss watching new episodes that I haven't seen before for a while, and for some reason, I found myself singing "Into the West" by Annie Lennox (the song at the end of Lord of the Rings) xP

Well at least your wait for new episodes will be shorter then most of us. Albeit Still a little bit of a long wait.

I'm excited for what Season 3 may have in store. I wonder if we'll be given any clues from Bronycon about what's in store. That happened last year regarding Season 2.

Your avatar just then completely made that statement.

I might make a Nostalgia Critic-like review of A Canterlot Wedding later, after I finish watching it a second time.

Iiiiiiim guessing it's not going to be very positive. Based on some of your posts regarding stuff related to the episodes. Though I hope you're not going to be a jerk and focus on "Why does everyone love this?!"

No episode is perfect. But IMO, Canterlot Wedding was astounding for plenty of reasons.

I've created a Twitter account solely to follow the writers (and Stephen Colbert); they have revealed that Spike has a big role in Season 3, and that Fluttershy does something "really cool". The big test will be how the show can do without Faust involved at all; I'm optimistic enough.

Also, MLP did NOT win the Emmy for Best Original Song in an Animated Show. That went to Penguins of Madagascar. I'm not too bitter; it is a decent show, and at least Dora The Explorer didn't win it. :P

Yeah I've been hearing about that. With Spike and Fluttershy and all. Though considering they've had some good moments IMO in both seasons it's not really specific xD

Yeah, they're divulging about as much as they can (for instance, it's safe to say that the Mane 6, Spike, the CMC, and the princesses will be back).

SPOILER ALERT: There will be ponies! THE SCANDAL OF IT ALL!

I hope they bring back Cadence and Shining Armour. For some reason, I just can't seem to say goodbye to those two lovebirds.

I also want Big Mac back, he's cool, and maybe Zecora.

I think we'll see them again. Though unless they have a honeymoon episode or something I think they'll become supporting characters in an episode or 2. Though I imagine we won't see them come to Ponyville. Though if we do see them again, hopefully we get to learn more about them. Some of the people who complained about the finale cite the fact Shining Armor and Cadence didn't get enough backstory and were too flat.

Also apparently Zecora's going to do some things in Season 3. I think M.A. Larson said something on it.

I'm not going to be a jerk or anything like you said. In fact, I quite enjoyed it and consider it one of my favorite episodes from Season 2.

But just because it's fun shit doesn't mean there's still not shit. And just because I love the episode doesn't mean I can't tear it apart and analyze its (many) flaws.

Think one of NC's positive reviews, like Conan the Barbarian or his commentaries on Sonic SatAm.
