Meh. I probably won't ever go to America. It'll probably blow me onto my back in size. I almost fainted when I went to London, and we KNOW how big that place is.
 
I feel like making a tl;dr pony post and having a little Fighting is Magic discussion. The most fun thing about a new fighter is character speculation.

Going off of this information, my guesses for the roster are as follows. I'm making these based off of relevance in the show and popularity in the fandom:

- Rarity

- Fluttershy
- Spike (at least one non-pony character)
- Celestia
- Zecora
- Spitfire
- Soarin'
- Big Macintosh
- Apple Bloom
- Sweetie Belle
- Scootaloo
- Luna
- Derpy
- Final Boss: Nightmare Moon

I'm still on the fence about Soarin'. I could easily see him being replaced with Lyra or someone like that.

They'll probably add Trixie (As a Punching bag for those who main Twilight :evilgrin: (j/k)). But I don't see them adding Gilda. They'll probably add Spike as the one non-pony character.

Nothing much really. We're pretty much at a standstill except for the occasional fanworks until Season 3 begins. Though I have a feeling we'll get some stuff here when Bronycon ends after this weekend. I imagine we'll get some announcements and stuff. I have a feeling we'll get something on Season 3 judging by the fact by not only the large amount of fans that would want the info but all the people behind the show that are going as well.

I don't think we have anyone we know here that's going, but I hope everyone that does go has a great time anyway.
 
I remember a while back someone pointed out that the word "everyone" was used in the episode Over A Barrel. It was justified as being used collectively for ponies AND buffalo. But I was rewatching Putting Your Hoof down and Fluttershy used "everypony" when she was only referring to animals like squirrels.

Thoughts?

I don't really care too much about the everyone/everybody thing. If it was a mistake in writing the script of the episode it's not even that big of a deal. Twilight also said People instead of Ponies in Canterlot Wedding. Though yeah Twilight probably was also referring to the buffalo in Over the Barrel. I'd say it's nitpicking if anyone really considered it a problem.

I didn't see Sonic Rainboom; did Hoops by any chance call Rainbow Dash a dork?
 
Hoops was voiced by the same guy that voiced Kevin from Ed, Edd, & Eddy. Kevin always called the Eds dorks.

Actually Kevin's voice actor is a female, She also did Trixie and Queen Chrysalis in Friendship is Magic.
 
So having seen the first 1.5 episodes I can confidently say 4 things
The plots are extremely easy to make fun of
I hate the voice acting (except for Applejack and Twilight out of the main ponies)
unicorns are not ponies
The characters are fairy interesting

EDIT: I mean 5 things
Lawman is 100% better then MLP :P

Don't know really just an after thought...WAIT LAWMAN HAS HORSES AND MLP HAS HORSES THEREFORE LAWMAN AND MLP ARE THE SAME THING.
 
I haven't seen it myself yet but I will later, this is a booth that Lauren Faust had. And from the sounds of it, things went pretty well.


Bronycon started today and will have another day tomorrow. Hearing how much people are having a blast over there makes me so jelly because I couldn't possibly go. (Though it's the same thing for any sort of con that'd be awesome to go to)
