Finally some confirmation that Season 3 will indeed have 13 episodes
BTW for the worrywarts that think this will mean that the show will end simply because of a shortened season. Don't be. There are several factors that point to Friendship is Magic continuing. The staff is unless they're not telling us anything still working where they have been doing for the run of the show and the HUB wouldn't shoot itself in the foot by ending it's most popular program so soon.
I kinda hope this means that the Seasons will just have a lower amount of episodes. Sure we'll only get half as many as we're used to with Seasons 1 and 2 but I think this means everyone of the staff can do their best to make all 13 episodes great without the extra load of another 13 episodes. Another possibility is they're doing syndication (Airing in other channels other then the HUB) for the first 3 seasons and they'll just continue Season 3 or start Season 4 at a later date that will be exclusive to the HUB.

It's a bit hard to interpret what exactly he means. But it sounds like we don't have to worry about it ending anytime soon. And that some seasons will be shorter for special reasons but there will also be Seasons in which it goes back to the usual 26.
Still I'm quite curious on what exactly he means by many seasons. Exactly how many?
(In case you don't know who this guy is. This is William Anderson. The guy who makes all the background music for Friendship is Magic.)

Something like feature length episodes would be awesome. However, all the two-parters could very well have been combined into feature length episodes, and that didn't happen.
