What? How did Diamond Tiara make it into the villains poster?

You could say the same for Trixie or Iron Will (ESPECIALLY Iron Will, he wasn't even really an antagonist). It's why I didn't call it the Villains poster. I called it the Antagonist poster.

Well that should be obvious. She bullied (Thus was antagonistic towards her) Apple Bloom in multiple episodes. Though she really was an antagonist in Ponyville Confidential. Blackmailing the CMC and everything.

I don't recall Trixie antagonizing anyone (unless you count her showing up the ponies who called her out during her show?) and really Iron Will he just did his job and left when Fluttershy said she wasn't satisfied

I agree with that. It's why I don't really think Iron Will fits on the poster but oh well. And while I don't like Trixie she wasn't really an antagonist herself either. So yeah I'm pretty much agreeing with you there.

It's an alright poster but i'll agree with nabber Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon look out of place also weren't the shadow racers (don't remember the name :P) just illusions created by Princess Luna.

I considered Trixie and antagonist because she basically belittled everyone in Ponyville. She's an adversary of the denizens, particular for Twilight, who, because Trixie showed off and everyone complained, got it into her mind that if she uses magic she'll be showing off. Ridiculous yes, but I'd still count it.

While Iron Will does make Fluttershy a jerk and DOES try to force her to pay for what he taught her, he actually isn't that bad of a guy. His techniques might be bad and have some dangerous results, unlike Trixie who DOESN'T HAVE A SINGLE MOMENT that establishes her as ANYTHING but a jerk, Iron Will actually sticks to his agreement that, if the customer isn't satisfied, they don't pay. That's what I like most about Iron Will, he's actually a cool guy, who's only a pushy jerk to demonstrate how to be more assertive... in his eyes...

Still, I don't like how the characters keep calling him a monster, even AFTER he left without a fuss...

1. Trixie is a travelling entertainer part of her job is to be arrogant it's how you get a crowd you tell them you will amaze them you act arrogant you tell them you are better then them then you prove it it's part of the game it doesn't make you an antagonist it makes you a great entertainer.
2. Iron Will had every right to demand his pay because as far as he knew Fluttershy was pleased with the service and was just trying to duck out on him and after learning she wasn't pleased he gave up and peacefully left.

1.) Oh dear lord here we go again, BEING AN ENTERTAINER DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO LOOK DOWN ON EVERYONE! She quiet literally belittles the audience, not just Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity, but EVERYONE with what she says, and it's not for their benefit but for her own! Entertainers DON'T insult their audience because they risk losing them! If it was JUST AJ, RD, and Rarity, maybe you might be onto something, but no, Trixie is just a jerk.
2.) I KNOW, that's exactly why I like Iron Will; he stands by his deals, even though he could have easily worked around just how "satisfied" Fluttershy was. In fact, his confrontation with Fluttershy gave him a new idea for his sessions ("Just say no!", standing your ground and all that). Actually, and I say this a lot, Iron Will is pretty much what everyone wants Trixie to be, a hammy pseudo-antagonist who's really not as bad as he/she appears to be.

Don Rickle directly insults his audience and is one of the most beloved entertainers of all time.

...Isn't he Mr. Potato Head? And even then, he's a comedian. Trixie is SUPPOSED to be impressing the audience with her magic, so why on Earth would she insult the audience? It doesn't in any way enhance what she's doing or makes them look better in comparison, it only serves to stroke her own ego.

To draw them in it's part of her gimmick dude she draws them in then she amazes them which she did very easily.

I think she can just as easily draw them in just with her voice, and all the fireworks she uses. Insulting the audience, STILL not required.

I don't actually remember her insulating the audience that much...Also it still doesn't make her an antagonist it hell from what I remember she was only arrogant and only insulated the crowd when they booed her for being arrogant which is something that like every good old school entertainer is

Maybe it's just me, but I find the hype behind Trixie INCREDIBLY overblown. I just don't see the appeal. And you're probably right, she's not THAT much of an antagonist, just an arrogant jerk that sort of acts like a plot device... namely, it's because of her that Snips and Snails get an Ursa Minor to show up in Ponyville and forces Twilight to use her magic to get rid of it.

In her defense Trixie is based off of old school traveling entertainers (with a mix of traveling elixir salesmen) so it makes sense that she would boast about doing things shes never done (like how P. T. Barnum show of wonders was like 85% hoaxes) so she can't be blamed that two idiots decided to find a real Ursa Minor to prove her claim

I think in terms of traveling entertainers (and salesman especially), the Flim Flame brothers were MUCH more appealing (especially since their boast WAS correct, they just messed it up thanks to their own arrogance). And of course I don't blame TRIXIE for what those two dumbasses did, I never meant to imply that. I just don't see why so many people like Trixie. People say it's the "Draco in Leather Pants" argument, or everyone likes bad boys/girls, but I STILL don't by it, there are plenty of other bad boys/girls, but they don't get nearly as much attention as Trixie does. So what is it?

I think it's because Trixie comes off as more sympathetic because from a lot of peoples view point shes just trying to do her job (which she is apparently very good at) but she keeps getting yelled at for being arrogant when really shes just trying to entertain people. While Flim and Flam come off as assholes and are hurt because they appear in a very flawed episode.
