I forgot if I specifically mentioned it here. But I find it possible that the 13 episodes will be some sort of Story Arc where each episode has something to do with most of the rest. Where something starts it the first few episodes and finishes in the Season Finale.

Even if the episode is still mostly slice-of-life. It will still have something to do with the Season's story.
 
But MLP has enough trouble with pacing as it is. A story arc in such little time would kill it.

Well I don't necessarily mean like an arc where there's a villain that's running amuck in the 13 episodes. I mean something more like how Season 1 had some of that buildup to the Grand Galloping Gala with the Tickets (Ticket Master), Dresses (Suited for Success), etc. Only much more profound of an arc and much more obvious continuity.

It's part of that annoying trope where Princess = Good and Queen = Evil thanks to some of the classic Disney Movies (Ex: Snow White). Celestia and Luna should technially be Queens too but yeah...

I heard something about that, Celestia (and Luna?) was originally supposed to be a queen but was changed to a princess to appeal to little girls more.

The only thing that could satisfy me more than that would be Applejack getting her own episode. No, I do not want an episode like 'The Last Roundup'. No, I do not want an episode like 'Applebucking Season'. I want an episode in which Applejack is shown in a positive light, as opposed to the negative light which she has been put in in any episode ever 'dedicated to her'.

Well, I guess I forgot to say that I also want the episode to be about her and her alone, no other of the mane 6 involved. I know they can do it, they just have to think of something good, which there is. I mean, just take something with the Apple Family, and boom, you've got an idea for an episode!

No, they don't. The first example of this would be 'Green Isn't Your Color' in which neither Applejack nor Rainbow Dash make an appearance. Then we have 'Putting Your Hoof Down' in which Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy are the only characters from the Mane 6 represented. But yes, I can see where you're going with that, so I will therefore change my 'needs' to that I want an Applejack episode similar to 'A Dog And Pony Show', but you take the whole episode and modify it so Applejack can really shine.

Oh bah. Rainbow may have got 3 (May the Best Pet Win, Mysterious Mare-Do-Well, and Read It and Weep) in Season 2 but she only had one true episode to herself in Season 1. Everyone of the Main 6 got their fair share of episodes and screentime in Season 2 I'd say even better shared then it was in Season 1.
 
Sorry for double posting but these 2 things are pretty awesome

First of which is an official map. We finally get a sense of the land of Equestria. And further confirmation that Equestria isn't actually the whole world.

I doubt we'll see the Main 6 travel everywhere that's new in the map. But it makes perfectly good fuel for any seasons beyond Season 3. There seems to be an official confirmation of Griffin lands.

Another thing is the official Season 2 poster similar to the one made after Season 1.

The Antagonist one is quite interesting. I find it funny how Discord almost seems to have pimp hands around Nightmare Moon and Chrysalis
