Still that's terrible logic for any character to be in Smash Bros. I'm not sure if you remember, but someone called supermariofan (Who has popped up every now and then, just not as often anymore) pushed for Mickey to be in SSB4 for a long while now just because of the game Epic Mickey.

if i ever make a smash mafia, he's going to be in there as a independant serial killer

Who? Supermariofan or Mickey? xD

mickey

he would have to kill all the other characters to win, so as to prove himself as a worthy smash fighter

Building hype? Calling a moment from Fluttershy "Simply Smashing" just sounds like a fun teaser :P

Granted the William Anderson post of "Everyone will be satisfied" is a bit condescending perhaps. And impossible all things considered. But noting a favorite character moment like Meghan did is just signs she's having fun. When the staff is having fun, the show's in good hands.
But that's just IT! It's obvious since the beginning that these people are having fun and doing what they think is fun and cute, and I want to join in, but I can't for whatever reason! It feels like something that was put in for fun's sake or something they thought would be a fun idea would usually end up frustrating me, not only because I could TELL it was just thrown in without much thought, but because, well, I'm not feeling the connect. I WISH it would be that easy to have people making a show for fun and have that fun transcend onto it's audience, but sometimes, it just doesn't work for me.

Oh, and FYI, teasers are, by design, made to build hype.

...In other news, Andy Price, artist of some of the MLP comics, talks about Alicorn Twilight and the drama in the fandom:

It gets even more annoying if they say "This wouldn't have happened if Faust was still directing the show!"

...well actually they have a point there, IMO.

At least with Alicorn Twilight. No, absolutely not.

Faust once said Twilight's eventual goal was to succeed Celestia. Granted, in the way the show runs. They made Alicorn Twilight so the show continues on after Twilight's has become a Princess. And in Faust's style it would of been saved for the Series Finale. But I actually like that we're continuing on from there.

Honestly, I prefer that Twilight's become a Princess in her own right while Celestia still runs things too.

Also I know you didn't like Canterlot Wedding. But Faust actually did help a bit with Canterlot Wedding and even did things for both Cadence and Shining Armor. Even if Cadence was just going to be a Unicorn originally. So you can't say Canterlot Wedding wouldn't have happened without Faust either.

Also, Faust never thought Rainbow Dash would ever be a good big sister for Scootaloo. Then boom, Sleepless in Ponyville happened. If Faust didn't want what was the result of the end of Sleepless in Ponyville to happen. I wouldn't like it as much. Rainbow's a better character then she ever was now. Faust didn't seem to want Rainbow to go in the direction they're taking her now.

I like Lauren Faust herself, but I wish so many people in the fandom didn't use her as a reason to dislike anything past Season 1/Season 2. The way people defend "Faust's Vision" is like she did every single thing in Season 1. The Animation, The Writing (She did write the first three episodes, even then they're one of the most meh episodes of the series compared to alot of what came after), and more. And absolutely nothing else afterward. It's almost to the point where if you ask them why they think Season 1's still the best the answer is "Lauren Faust. I rest my Case".

You know, the way I see it, as long as the overall quality doesn't go down, I could care less about how directs it. I have a good respect for both Lauren Faust and Craig McCracken, and I think they do a good job on whatever show they direct.

Anyway, on a much more positive note. (Also I know you posted this on Equestria Forums Smashgoom. But I simply must post it here)

This looks like it's going to something that I really wanted for Season 4 :D

Twilight struggling to fly, and Rainbow Dash giving her support. Yeeeeees.

That's why Wander Over Yonder is so good (Craig McCracken's the creator and showrunner, Lauren Faust is co-producer and story editor).

But you know, with the way season 3 turned out, even though it wasn't all bad, I just have to wonder "what if?". What if Lauren didn't leave? What would the show have been like? It sucks regardless that Lauren can't watch the show anymore because "it's not her show" and the characters she created "aren't her characters anymore". :(

As for the animatic, I DO like it, but it just leaves me wishing that season 3 DIDN'T end with Twilight flying into the distance.

BREAKING NEWS! The synopsis for the season 4 premiere has been revealed:

http://www.equestriadaily.com/2013/10/season-4-opening-synopsis-revealed.html

The fourth season begins with a revealing two-part premiere in which the newly crowned Princess Twilight must balance her new royal duties and her friendship with the other ponies. Amid preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration in Canterlot , Princesses Celestia and Luna go missing and the Everfree Forest is taking over Equestria . These unexpected turn of events sends Princess Twilight and her pony friends on a quest to discover a mysterious foe who threatens to destroy everyt hing . It is all up to Princess Twilight and her friends to help save Equestria from being destroyed. As part of the journey, Princess Twilight is given the chance to discover the secret behind the Elements of Harmony.

“My Little Pony Friendship is Magic” follows the magical Princess Twilight Sparkle and her trusted assistant Spike, who live in Ponyville in the enchanted land of Eq uestria, along with her colorful pony friends – honest Applejack, generous Rarity, kind Fluttershy, loyal Rainbow Dash and fun - loving Pinkie Pie. Together, they teach one another valuable lessons about the most powerful magic of all – the magic of friendship!

When I first read that, I thought it was awesome... then a thought occurred to me:

The ponies say at least twice that the Everfree Forest isn't natural. The first time it's said, you get a feeling that there's something truly supernatural and strange about the forest, and that seems to be implied several times throughout the series... but the second time they say it, they go into detail about why it's unnatural, namely:

Applejack: The Everfree Forest just ain't natural. The plants grow...
Fluttershy: Animals care for themselves...
Rainbow Dash: And the clouds move...
Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash: All on their own!

...In other words, the ponies think the Everfree Forest is "unnatural" because it's getting by WITHOUT pony assistance, in other words, NATURALLY, as far as the read world is concerned. Clearly, Amy Keating Rogers meant to put that in as a little joke, but like other little jokes put in without much thought put into them, it becomes contradictory with what comes later, and even before. In this case, if what's so spooky about the Everfree Forest is that it exists outside of what ponies expect of the world (and the monsters that live there, of course), how exactly will it grow and take over Equestria?

Though I have a feeling the Everfree Forest itself isn't really behind this, and that it's this new "foe" the synopsis mentioned that's using the forest to it's own means. I AM excited for this, but I'm curious to see how they go about it...

corporations are people too

I'm intrigued. First I was a little unsure because this gets rid of my theory that the only antagonist is Twilight's self-doubt (But that doesn't mean it can't be a subplot). And I was wondering how the Nightmare Moon thing fits all into this.

But then quite obviously it's some sort of Magic that's showing Twilight some of the history of the Elements of Harmony. Info on Celestia and Luna, Elements of Harmony, an explanation of how Princess Twilight's going to work for the rest of the series?

I believe that without a doubt, Season 4's opener is the most important Friendship is Magic episode yet.

At last, the (True) finale of Turnabout Storm (The Phoenix Wright/Friendship is Magic crossover series) is up!

I won't see it until later. Probably after Korra. But if you have about 2 1/2 hours to spare and if you've seen the previous parts. Go ahead and see it! (Just make sure you put things in a Spoiler box)

That Turnabout Storm finale was awesome!

...But also very heartwarming

This really completes a great series that has had highs and lows for both the protagonists and the antagonists and provides some good endings for almost every character involved. And the writing is just top notch. I've never even played a Phoenix Wright game, but this crossover series really has shown me what Phoenix Wright is like. And he works well with all the excellent personalities that exist in the Friendship is Magic universe in this crossover.

Even Trixie, when she's finally defeated. And Sonata when it seems she'll be convicted of murder. Are given some sort of happy ending and closure. Not even in the spoiler box will I say how it's done. You just need to really see it and give your own thoughts on it. It's just wonderfully done, and while the voice acting isn't always perfect it's still acted well enough that it has the emotion tied into it. I believe it's something that both Phoenix Wright fans, Friendship is Magic fans, and ESPECIALLY fans of both can enjoy.

I seriously recommend seeing the entire series if you're a fan of either and both. It's really faithful to both and blends in everything well done within both series (Phoenix Wright making Court Cases quite exciting and interesting, and Friendship is Magic giving it's wonderful assortment of characters). I don't know what else to really express about this, it's just perhaps one of the best done fanmade video works I've seen. And it does deserve a round of applause for the hard work put into this entire thing. I'm glad to have watched it from beginning to end. Someday I might just even rewatch the entire thing again. With how long of it, I can pretty much consider it a movie series.

The show was great but somehow they decided make something as a secret
How did Cruise know Phoenix Wright's phone number?
When the visiting hours was almost over, Twilight saw once again those locks, five of them locking Cruise. Is this related to the case or I missed something?
Pinkie knew what happened if calling Derpy's names but Twilight don't know that? She lives in Ponyville, after all.

It wasn't Cruise Control that called him it was Sonata who used magic to make her voice sound like Cruise Control. And I believe she said that it was what happened when Sonata tried to give Phoenix a telepathic message and it somehow came through on his phone instead of Phoenix's mind. Like the phone got it rather then he did.

And Pinkie Pie is essentially the people person in Ponyville. She knows the quirks of just about everypony in Ponyville, Twilight's still been there much less then she has.

wow people now put fan made stuff in official threads

I believe the 2 1/2 hour finale of a 7+ hour fan project warrants a post in the official thread more so then in the Mindless Junk thread. :P
