That's nice I suppose? What brought you back I wonder?
My little cousin forced me to watch it and it gave me good memories.

Again it's good that you say you're back. But still for me you gotta promise you won't quit just because you don't like one episode.

Nothing personal, but I didnt realize this was some sort of in club which required approval to join. I thought people were allowed to change their minds depending on if they like something or not without outside approval.

You quoted my wrong post. :/
I accidentally screwed up the quote coding.

Not if the mighty dictator Celestia has anything to say about it.

She does.

Saw the newest episode. it was pretty good, a nice and sweet one. (other then Diamond Tiara being an ass but that's nothing new) I also like Granny Smith a lot more now.

I feel like I'm the only one who likes Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.

So uh, I was wAtching the Ticket Master, and was curious about the end...

How are the non-unicorns able to levitate the ticket over their head? :s

I only started watching these a couple weeks ago. I'm up to the episode with Fluttershy, after the whole Buffalo and Horse Fight one where the Tree gets stolen.

Maybe the tickets are enchanted? Like a spell is making them float over the pony the Ticket was for. Of course Spike's invitation wasn't floating either but I suppose it just doesn't work for Dragons. But Spike has actual hands to hold it anyway.

Well, that was a cute episode.

But it wasn't really anything I haven't seen before. A lot of ideas were stolen from Spongebob, like Bath Time and self-inflicting pain (Krusty Land). It was nice to see some insight on ponies growing up, but it makes me wonder why Pumpkin is so powerful (considering it took Twilight years to muster that kind of power). Pinkie's antics were funny but not her best. I guess it was an okay episode but not really my favorite.

Also: HOW MANY FREAKING COMMERCIALS FOR POUND PUPPIES DO WE NEED?

I thought it was a pretty good episode. Pumpkin and Pound were pretty cool.

Well I think Rarity and Twilight did tell that Unicorn foals have surges of magical power in them. Perhaps it means that things stabilize when they reach a certain age? Same thing with Pegasi foals? That might explain it, because it's a tad confusing that we see Pound and Pumpkin who aren't even a year old do good at flying and magic when Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo can't.

Though I'm glad they kinda got some Genetics discussed. That's what I thought. You can have parents of the same type of Pony (In this case, Earth) and as long as you have some history in the family with someone who is a Unicorn or a Pegasi there's a chance the children can be another type because of the recessive gene. I kinda expected the Smile, Smile, Smile song to be in this one but there was some real small songs Pinkie did at the beginning. Overall, it wasn't the best Season 2 episode IMO. But it was still enjoyable.

What I kinda found funny is they asked Rainbow Dash of all Ponies to babysit before they went for Pinkie lol at least they asked the best option (Fluttershy) first.

Oh yes,
I like how pretty much every pony had a good excuse except for Rainbow Dash. "Sorry, but I'm going to a show today." Makes me love her more.

I loved this episode, it was so cute! :D

I liked how it started out with the actual delivery of the twin toddlers, so it explains immediately where they came from. It also makes it canon that Earth Ponies CAN indeed birth to both pegasus and unicorn ponies... So it doesn't have to be specific to a particular "sect" of a race.

In a way it reminds me of One Piece, how Fishmen can give birth to mermaids and vice-versa. I'm not entirely convinced of the genetics involved in both cases, though (cousin twice-removed happens to be a unicorn so you give birth to one? Yeah, I'm not buying it).

I DID like how Pinkie Pie had to learn that taking care of babies isn't all fun and games. Pinkie Pie was extra cute this time around! Seeing more of Mr. and Mrs. Cake was also nice, they're a sweet couple (no pun intended).

Speaking of extra cute, Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake were also adorable! Yeah, some people weren't convinced by the initial appearance of a baby foal in this series, but these two pretty much cemented their adorableness!

I also found it interesting that Pinkie Pie never asked for help, even though Twilight came in offering it. I almost thought it was going to end up being a "everyone pitches in" sort of deal, but thankfully, not only does it end up with Pinkie doing it all by herself, but she even agrees to do it again, after the stereotypical "I'm never babysitting again" deal, which she changed her mind after Pound and Pumpkin Cake spoke their first words... :)

I DID think it was weird that they're only a month old and yet SOMEHOW Pound Cake is able to fly across the room with his teeny-tiny baby wings, and Pumpkin Cake is not only able to use magic, but use magic to levitate objects AND herself! That, I found a bit hard to swallow...

Other than that, though, I loved the episode, adorable, especially the ending where Pinkie Pie ended up crying and the babies had to cheer her up! ;D

Although, I WAS disappointed that there was no Pinkie Pie song... Aside from that pig one, which... Well, I'll just say the babies reaction to it was also my own. :???:

All-in-all, good episode, gladly re-watch it anytime.

Ahahaha,

That guy had a dirty diaper in his MOUTH.

All the comments on that video are basically the same: Pound Cake, a 1-month-old foal, can fly, while Scootaloo can't. :(

Yeah that's probably something that will bug people for quite a while. While the Unicorn babies' thing was explained that they tend to have spurts of magic that probably finally settles down later on (Perhaps this is why Magic Kindergarten is needed). The whole Pound flying is hard to explain logically. Perhaps some Pegasi are natural flyers and others have to learn. You could also say they just had the baby fly for "Rule of Funny" because otherwise the whole scene of the baby walking on the ceiling or Pinkie chasing Pound wouldn't have happened.

EDIT: Also both the Magic and Flying could possibly just be natural instincts. Some animals if you put them in water as a baby will have the natural instinct to swim. Perhaps it's similar for Magic and Flying for Pegasi and Unicorns?

This episode was pretty decent. The babysitting nightmare episode, I think it's common enough to be a trope. Maybe it is a trope? Wouldn't know. Pinkie Pie was cute as always. I loved how the episode ended, and what I loved even more was the small part Twilight had. She totally deserved to be shoved outside after what she said :P

I was kinda hoping for a bigger Pinkie Pie song though (a lullaby perhaps), but I guess I'll just have to be happy with these short ones, which are kinda cute too.

No, they're just generally known topics. Little children like it if you pretend you're in pain, that's quite commonly known. As for bath time, a lot of little children also hate that. I can give you numerous other cartoons who have used those concepts, some of which predate spongebob.

They have absolutely no redeeming qualities. Same goes for Hoops or whatever his name is.

I don't like Diamond Tiara or Silver Spoon all that much either. But they do have the excuse of just being spoiled bullies that will learn their lesson even if it comes years later in their life.

It's characters like Prince Blueblood I think deserves more crap.
