So just before the cave there is a rock on the edge. And on the other side of that rock is water. Jump into the water and in order to do that you have to go on a certain angle because the fence is blocking your way but it's not that hard to execute it.Chris McLean said:

Yeah, it can also be done by that but falling off the water is more easier, sometimes I would jump off the cliff and still fail to do the glitch. Also it can be done without the use of an item.

I decided to be nice with MnSG on Maka Wuhu, I went the long way so that it would be a fair race for the two of us. I wouldn't do it for randoms though. Or people that would also use it. I didnt get any points or lose any so it was all good.

I was in a group full of giants earlier, I mean most the group had 10000 vr+! I thought I was fucked. But me with my mediocre 4700 vr-kicked. Their. Asses. I mean I was consistantly 4th or better and had probaly the lowest vr in the group, plus I got 2nd on Alpine pass which I'm not very good at.
Most of the time, people with 10000+ are addicts. Some of them just want the Gold Parts though. Its what i'm aiming for.
I just got 3000 coins recently. Got the Egg 1. Has worse handling than the Cloud 9 but I'm still going to try it out
I'm gonna try get a full gold combo.

I have over 9000 VR now, and I've pretty much found a combo that I'll likely use a lot...
Lakitu + Cloud 9 + Wood + Super Glider
It's not the fastest combo on land, but the sea speed and air speed make up for it. And the 4.75 acceleration ensures that if I get attacked, I can recover quickly. While this combo doesn't necessarily mean that I'll win all the time, I can't really turn down a combo that offers the best possible stat total.
Personally, I find the Slim tires to be superior to the Mushroom tires, especially since they're slightly heavier, boost stability, and offer better sea handling. The mini-turbo does take a topple, but that cost is pretty much meaningless when drifting gets boosted.

With an item is so much easier though. Get a triple shroom from the first or second batches of items, then use them to be able to drift over the grass right after the bridge with the second batch of items, all the way untill you can straight drive into the cliff. Saves you all the nasty braking and turning and getting knocked off-road by drivers refusing to do the glitch.

Did I mention I finally started playing this game? I've unlocked almost all the characters I liked/don't mind are in the game, and the fact that I can play it anywhere is definitely a plus, except I DEFINITELY have to control my temper when the game pulls a cheap shot...
