The reason I switched to this combo is since the Slim wheels were a tad slower than the Mushroom ones.

Personally, I find the Slim tires to be superior to the Mushroom tires, especially since they're slightly heavier, boost stability, and offer better sea handling. The mini-turbo does take a topple, but that cost is pretty much meaningless when drifting gets boosted.

Well, in this combo, all the stats are the same as the slim's except for its speed stat and weight stat. The only downside to the Mushroom wheels are that I can be knocked around more easily, but I rarely get knocked around anyway.
 
New combo (I've been meaning to change it because I learned this:

0.00, 0.25, and 0.50 or subtracting of those Mean nothing 0.75, 1.00, and above all add what the full number they round to.):

Mii + Egg 1 + Wood + Super Glider
 
Isn't kind of funny how all you guys ever talk about in this thread is hacks, glitches and stats?
 
Never. only when laying down n an awkward angle and having the 3DS in a position if I let go it'll crash onto my face.
 
@Lily: I like to thank you for giving me another chance to race you. In fact, double thank you for getting me into a room filled with weaker opponents, as that actually helped me reach the 10000 VR mark. Yup, my VR is now over 10000, and the Gold Standard is in my possession.

Anyway, all that's left is the Gold Glider, and I have over 9500 coins after all of this work.
 
No problem, I was with a guy from another forum I'm on, he was the guy with like 500vr. That got me up to the 4900 mark!
 
It is rather funny that you tend to have an easier time winning against racers with less than 2000 VR, compared to when you're facing those with over 6000 VR. Nowadays, I have to go through my recent opponents list to find a room that would be less chaotic. I may not earn as much VR in a weaker room, but since I have the Gold Standard now, that doesn't really matter.

Additionally, finding weaker opponents would make it easier for me to face other players on my friend list; I'd only get serious competition from them most of the time in a weaker room.
