@everyone complaining about Lakitu: Lakitu has been a series staple since the beginning, adding him would make more sense than adding Lubba or dixie kong. Lakitu just never has been a playable character before, but he appeared in every race you have ever been in.


Also, did anyone else notice how the official site doesn't list Boo as a returning item? I wonder why it isn't returning even though boo isn't a playable character.

Probably yes. Because that's what they did to Baby Luigi in Mario Kart Wii (he was shown in a screenshot prior to release, but he was unlockable. FAIL)

What do you have against gay people? I agree with you, but could you at least say just "Queen Bee"?
 
I'm still bitter that Lubba and E. Gadd didn't make it. Lubba could act as Rosalina's counterpart and could have helped promote Super Mario Galaxy 2, and E. Gadd would have helped promote Luigi's Mansion 2, just like Rosalina was added to promote Super Mario Galaxy, even though Galaxy was released earlier than Mario Kart Wii.

HamiYoshi seems to take most opportunities she gets to advertise her own project. Kinda annoying, but there are worse things.

Like you people bitching about Lubba. Please stop it. We know you all love the big blob of fat that is Lubba, but he's not gonna be in, so get over it. It's not like you hear me constantly bitching how Kamek should have gotten in instead of Queen Bee.

At least Kamek truly is his own unique character (he's called Fang in Japanese, to differentiate himself from other Magikoopas, who are called Kamek in Japan).

Besides, I think Magikoopas are pretty cool enemies, you don't see them that much in spin-offs.
 
Kamek feels the same as a Magikoopa, IMO. Magikoopas are cooler than Koopa Troopas, though.
 
What do people have against Lubba just for being fat? I'm not a huge fan of him but he's a pretty cool character, and what's better: HE IS NOT GENERIC like some others that have huge fan bases around here.
