Mario Kart 7

^ It's not a glitch or an easter egg.
I think it is only a stat mechanic. Easter eggs are little secrets in a game but they don't contribute to the gameplay.

I don't understand why Nintendo is so reluctant into giving out maxed states.

I guess when you look at past Mario Kart games, Mario Kart Wii is pretty much the only title that's actually true to its stats.

Good luck on obtaining 20,000 coins!

Or you can always do the VR method. I dunno

I recently did some more experimenting with off-road, and I have the following results...

It seems that you can hold your drift while off-road, IF your combo's off-road is 4.5 or better, but anything less will NOT work. Simply put, you can't hold your drift while off-road if the off-road stat reads 4.25 or less, which means that unless your combo involves the Monster tires or the Red Monster tires, don't bother going off-road without a star or mushroom boosts.

I've just released an app for iPhone/iPod touch and Android that you may like. It's my chance to give a little back to the community. Thanks to everybody involved in analysing the game.

It allows you to easily compare two combinations of characters, karts, wheels and gliders from Mario Kart 7. That way you can easily tweak your setup to find your winning combination.

Can you please make it free.
No he won't.
Building an app like this takes a lot of effort. Sadly I can't spend weeks of my time creating a tool like this and then give it away for free. I'd love to add new features to this app, and even build more apps along the same lines. That takes time and money, as I am sure you understand.

I may have taken forever to make but apps like that are usually free. Not worth money if you ask me. You can probably easily find something like that on the internet.

The unique thing about my app is that there isn't anything else like it - as an app or on the internet. Sure there are other stats calculators but none are as easy to use or understand.

It's not that you won't get any buys, it's just that I doubt it's worth money at all. It may be easy to understand but people looking for good kart combos can just ask people. MnSG is a good example, he knows tons about the game and that kart stat thing of his is free an all you need to see stats.

Extra Time > Spending Money

Sure you can ask people, but my app allows you to compare combos at a glance, and find your own combo that perhaps none of your friends have. Combo Explorer a tool for competitive advantage. It's not about just viewing the stats, but exploring and comparing them to find the exact combo for your needs. No other tool can let you do that as easily. If there was, I wouldn't have built it!

If somebody else had built it I'd have paid for it. But that's me, an adult with a lot of disposable income. I understand that some people just don't want to pay for anything, regardless of how much time/effort it may save or how much advantage/enjoyment they might get from it. I'm fine with that.

All I got out of that was you trying to advertise your app. It won't work on me though. If I really needed something like that, the link MSnG put up is all you need.

Either way, I can't blame you for trying to get a few bucks for your work, but something like this for money? I doesn't seem worth it, no matter how neat it looks, said link from before (MSnG's link he put up) has pretty much all of that for free but with a less neat look.

As I said, I'm cool with your reasons for not wanting to buy the app and you going for a free, less useful alternative.

See you on the racetrack!
