The best thing to do is that as soon as you hear the wind sound, start leaning to the left so that you don't get blown off by the wind, but as soon as the wind is done lean to the right so that you don't fall to the left either, and just repeat till you get to the other side.

Thanks. I'll remember this.

Wait a minute - didn't you say you didn't have the game? How do you know these tips already?

YouTube maybe.

To tell the truth I never had to deal with the wind in the Secret Mine while walking a tightrope, since I thought it was just for show.

There's a fancy gem in the crate across it, plus you can just pull the bridge rope that fell off back up, which makes it so that you don't have to do that again. Plus strobe light the area towards the left to activate the ball rope conveyer belt thingy, and you can get more treasure where it leads you.

And no, I didn't do youtube. I will not tell you how I know though. :)

Yes I've done all that already, the bridge rope pulling is literally required to beat the mission and the conveyor belt is needed to get back to the Gondola Station room without going all the way around again. Except you left out having to stare at the gem hidden in the wall for a few seconds using the binoculars before a crow will drop it into the barrel.

My guess is that someone you know has the game and you watched.

I think I'm missing 3 Gems in Gloomy Manor, 3 Gems in Haunted Towers, 5 Gems in Old Clockworks & 4 Gems in Secret Mine. I'm also missing one Boo in each mansion, I'm too lazy to go back through right now so I'll do that in a few months time. I'm starting Treacherous Mansion now.

Well, thanks for that tip, BMB, I just passed the mission!

I see. I have all the gems and Boos in Gloomy Manor, but I'm going to wait until later to 100% the other mansions. Quick question: is triple-starring every level required if you want to 100% the game?

It's required when you want an E. Gadd medal

You get three when you really 100% the game (yes, including getting all ScareScraper ghosts)

I finally beat this dang game.
First three Possessors were pretty easy, but I absolutely HATED the ice monster; it was so hard to aim once he only had a few ice sheets left on his face. I also hated the fact that he regenerates and that the machine-thingy overheats. I thought this fight was actually harder than King Boo...
Paranormal Chaos actually got me paranoid with the whole "dimension collapse" (super paper mario much), but I was able to beat it just in time.

The Ice Monster was horrible. It wasn't hard, just a timing game and if you didn't shoot quick enough he would just regen. My only game over.

The First Boss (Spider Queen) was a Puzzle Test [The Entire Boss fight was like it's own Puzzle]
The Second Boss (Stairs) was a Patience Test [It's almost impossible to get up the stairway on your first try/The Boss is one where you wait and then attack when he's stunned]
The Third Boss (Clock) was a Pressure Test [You have to capture the enemies before the clocks hands reach a certain point]
The Fourth Boss (Ice) was an Accuracy Test [You have to get the correct timing or your bombs would just miss]
The Fifth Boss (Knight) was a Courage Test [You had to go near the knights in order to make them swing and be stunned]

Each boss felt pretty unique in what you needed to do. Except for King Boo, he felt kind of lackluster since his boss was the same sort of idea as the Knight one but with teleport spam then you run away for a bit and repeat.

For me the hardest boss, excluding King Boo, was the first.

So far, I agree with you. But it was tons of fun

Damn, I just tried my hand at that Secret Mine boss. Talk about tough. I was able to survive the first 2 waves, but the 3rd wave got me.
Me.
This game is kinda wearing off. At first it was fun, but the game drags on and doesn't really introduce anything new, you know? It has lots of ideas, just nothing substantial. Also, the bosses...
1st boss - I loved this one, it was really fun and creative.
2nd boss - This was just... bad. Not fun, not hard, just bland.
3rd boss - The problem with this is that it wasn't even a boss! It was just wave after wave of ghosts. Rather lazy if you ask me.
4th boss - Eh... not really that great. It's rather hard, you don't get much time to blast its face off, and you just do the same thing over and over again.

The first boss no doubt about it is the best boss in the game

Pro-tip:

When you have to deal with all those Knights that run after you - I'm not sure if you had to deal with them before as I don't have the game - but just keep an eye out for the rugs/carpets. It will definitely help you a lot.

Once again, I think that is literally the required way to beat them.

Anyway, I Gold Ranked all of Gloomy Manor and got all the boos and gems for it. found my mistake with Sticky Situation, I went out of my way to get a Gold Greenie and got the dog bone so that was a good chunk of money. My time was still under 10 minutes even though I went out of my way. Next is Haunted Towers, I have a few bronze ranks here so we'll see how it goes. I think I'm missing one boo and 4-5 gems.

Just beat the boss of Haunted Towers. I ended up with a three-star rank, though I slid down the stairs eight times. Now I just need to do the bonus mission and get four or five more emeralds, then I can start the Old Clockworks.

So I got this.

Decent game so far. Beat the first three stages with Bronze Ranks.

That's not really an achievement. I can see why, though, because when you first get the game, you want to explore everything as much as possible. Later on, though, you realize to get a good rank, you have to complete the level somewhat fast with not as much exploring.
