Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

The ghosts in the original game had lots of personality but these ones are just bland.

Sorry, NSM, but most people (myself included) think the opposite.

Maybe he was trying to say that the original ghosts felt more unique. Because from what I've played, the parts before you fight ghosts or peek through cracks in walls show the ghosts doing wacky things or show what each ghosts personalities are like (Greenies play tricks on each other, Red guys don't understand shit and resort to wrecking stuff.) but the designs themselves don't seem all that great IMO.

Because the designs of the normal enemies in the first game were so much more original...?

I suppose I was looking more at all the portrait ghosts since they were so cool an original. Should have probably specified that.

I didn't specify that I was the portrait ghosts I was talking about either, my fault.

The warping thing is just plain annoying, not much of a big deal.

I found the Treehouse boss idea a little disappointing.

Yeah, the design was creative and good, but the hardest part of the "fight" was climbing up the damn stairs. It was so freaking tedious. But the boss itself was really pathetic. A headless, running chicken would beat that thing.

Ugh, do I know it. It took me like 15 tries to get up the dang stairs, but only took one for the boss.

Man, that first mission in Secret Mine really pisses me off. That highwire you have to tiptoe across to get to the elevator is brutal. I died twice on it (even after my Gold Bone was used). It sucks, because I lost 2 gemstones and a Boo, so I'll have to get those again.

I already beat the boss in Old Clockworks

It was pretty easy, thanks to my Super Poltergust upgrade. But it was fun nevertheless. The boss itself still couldn't beat the first boss though.

It took me exactly one try to beat that boss. With a triple star rank too

:smug:

Well I'm working on that ya know. I haven't even gotten to Secret Mine yet

I've barely done anything in the Haunted Towers, myself (lol).

Braggart

It was probably because it was early in the morning and I was a bit tired. I only really had problems with the 12:00 section of the clock; everything else was pretty easy.

I don't have the game yet, so yeah, I have no idea what these "missions" are. :P

Yeah, like Crackin said, they're basically the entire game. Each mansion has 5 missions, along with one boss and one bonus mission.

By the way, does anyone have any tips on that high-wire part towards the end of D-1: Cold Case?

Uh, is that the bridge part? If you're holding down Run, then that is a problem because it'll make you sway more often. Also, try to keep your 3DS perfectly straight and still. Just to make sure, if the area I'm talking about it what you're talking about, then there should be (or have been) a gem inside a crack in the wall if/when you looked through the binoculars earlier in the level.

The best thing to do is that as soon as you hear the wind sound, start leaning to the left so that you don't get blown off by the wind, but as soon as the wind is done lean to the right so that you don't fall to the left either, and just repeat till you get to the other side.

Thanks. I'll remember this.

Wait a minute - didn't you say you didn't have the game? How do you know these tips already?

YouTube maybe.

To tell the truth I never had to deal with the wind in the Secret Mine while walking a tightrope, since I thought it was just for show.
