Everyone. It doesn't matter. Shut up about it.

Can we just drop this subject?

I feel like it's turning into a braindead flamewar.

That's what I said too.

Not only is your side of the argument the only one who thinks that it doesn't matter, Sheep Man, you're side is also the only one still posting about it. It's sad too, because if you would have devoted your posts to actually responding to something I said, maybe we would have gotten somewhere. But instead we're all making meta arguments.

Just saying that I referred to your posts and agreed with them.

Seeing that you just posted, this doesn't hold true anymore ^^;;.

But two forum admins have said to "shut up about it" so I think it's safe to do so, regardless of "this side" or "that side."

Two wrong admins. :-\

To me, the current "post count"(if it can even be called that, since it doesn't even count all of the posts) is like if Special:Editcount only listed non-minor Mainspace edits. Sure, you could do that. Sure, there might be some obsessive elitist who would think of that as an improvement because the "lower" edits are further from their sight... But what does it really do? It makes the whole feature pointless, because it doesn't do what it's very name describes it as doing.

Totally agree. Not much else that I can think of right now.

Is it me or is Ugo an admin?
No. Lyra is Nerdy Guy.

Sorry for double-posting, but Noah told me in query a minute or two ago that he agrees with Uniju and me on our points of view towards letting posts count in the Forum Games board.

Just popping in to say that Noah's been banned, he's not an admin, he has no voice in anything related to the forums.

And? I posted what he asked me to post.

I'm wondering why anyone (this goes for both sides of the argument) even cares about post count.

I actually suggested to get rid of post counts years ago.

And then everybody got mad.

What I'm wondering is that why those who said that they felt that it didn't matter started arguing what Uniju and I said so aggressively.

to boost up our post count, of course

Because we are not arguing about post counts, anymore. We are now arguing about our argument about post counts. :)

Ok... this will be the last post related to previous discussion... it stops.... now.

It was more to prevent rather than bait (since it likely would have happened otherwise), but I removed it anyway.

Personally, I think Forum Games posts should count because there is a bit of thought required to post in a game.

Technailly speaking, every post requires thought, but so does spamming. Though I'm not that sure about letting all posts count since Ralph some people seem to post just to make their count go up then celebrate the number reached. I'm not sure if that's entirely true, but that's just the impression I've been getting lately.

Someone saying "Oh look, 800 posts!" is okay to include in the post, in my opinion. However, someone making a huge deal out of reaching a certain amount of posts and then start excessively bragging about it (e.g rubbing it in another member's face) is just trolling. If people start trolling over their post count (which is the latter-mentioned), then ban them. If they just brag a little bit in one of their posts, no big deal.

Please, just stop talking about it. Conversation is going in circles.

It's going in circles because your side ran out of excuses.
How about we just change it already?

I know what trolling is, no need to explain it. I'm also fine with the ocassional "Hey, look what I reached!" but Ralph's been doing stuff like contantly announcing it in chat and even referencing it out of the blue in his posts. It's pretty damn annoying after a while. This has nothing to do with posts counting or not though, I just wanted to sidebar. Anyway, this is a pretty trival issue, and I thought we dropped this a while ago. I'm still fine with letting them count. I was just thinking about reconsidering it when I posted that.

@Uniju: We can't do anything fairly until Stoob gives his final word. Also, I see what you're doing, stop trying to drag this out.

@Garlic: You're just making this go longer. Please stop trying to get everyone to shut up. That's ShyGuy's the mods' job.
