Suggestions for Improvement

Also, I think we need a true mobile version.
I know that if you add "?wap", "?wap2", or "?imode" after the board's URL, you'll go to the mobile version.
But, it's designed for the oldest phones available, therefore, it's not smartphone or tablet friendly.
Look at this, for example:

That's a very limited mobile version, while if you visit DSHack.org Forums (or any other IP.Board 3.1 or higher based Forum), it's greatly optimized for smartphones and tablets.
I know there are a lot of people here with an iOS and/or Android device (Zero777, Flubber, NSM, me, to name a few), so this could save a lot of zooming in/out.

I found some themes for it:
http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/index.php?lemma=2035
http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/index.php?lemma=2089

This is a simple template installation, but it requires switching.
Maybe I (or someone else) can make a mobile App, or a true mobile version of the Forum, for this?
I'm learning Java at school, at this moment, so I could basically make an Android App.
What do you think?

People actually aim on accessibility, not on functionality.
That's why it doesn't work well.

So Orange thinks MarioWiki contains adult content?

Yeah, it says 'no forums or chatrooms' seriously? Our school has a freakin forum! Will it ban me from that as well!!!

If a new topic is created, I think the mods should take a look at it before it gets put on the forum. It could potentially prevent future flame wars (if the topic could be found offensive by some people), the creation of repeat topics for people who are too lazy or oblivious to use the search feature (unless the already existing topic hasn't been posted in for a long time and the user making the repeat topic doesn't wish to bump the topic), plus, it could stop the creation of topics that are just plain pointless.

I don't really think that's needed. Or possible, for that matter.

The mods don't have tons of time to do this.

Mods can just lock those threads.

And they can lock those, too.

People usually don't reply to a stupid topic.

People can also report threads of these types to mods. If you look on the bottom-right corner of each post, you'll see a handy little "Report to Moderator" button there.

I have seen forums where everything has to be regulated by a mod, but that's usually on sites with extremely young users (the kind of sites that require parental permission to even become a member). I think the users here are mature enough to post decent topics and if something does piss people off, we have enough common sense to report them.

We'd all become incredibly impatient with waiting for mods to approve threads if this somehow happened, anyway.

All right, I understand. Except for this part:

Locking only prevents future posts. It doesn't prevent them from being read. Just a little thought. :posh:

We usually send these sorts of topics to the Archive anyway, so that point is (for the most part) irrelevant. And I'm sure everybody can put up with reading a duplicate thread a few times anyway: sometimes things like that are unavoidable.

I don't think the mods are trying to hide locked threads. If something's so bad it needs to be hidden or removed, that will probably be what happens before anything (except maybe banning the criminal perpetrator.)

If I'm wrong, I'd like to be corrected - I'm still not familiar with the process here.

Not really, as you can also play online on Nintendo consoles and handhelds, and so you can on Sony, Microsoft, Apple, and Google hardware, so "PC Gaming" wouldn't make sense.
Also, there are a lot of offline PC games.
I think there could be an subforum in Console Gaming for PC Gaming, or just use Console Gaming for PC games.

That's what I was thinking. Many PC games are similar to the console versions, so I believe it'd make sense to do that.

It's been a half month ago, and I still don't have any option to change Custom Titles.
Asking Administrators through PM doesn't have any use as well, as I tried it, and no reply at all (only one from '3K, he said they're talking with Steve about this).

That's why I said, "I still don't have".
I already know that all the other positions do have this option.
