Like Herr Shyguy said, WYSIWYG means "What You See Is What You Get".
Just think like it's Microsoft Word, or Dreamweaver, or something simular.
Instead of BBCodes or HTML Codes, you'll see how your post will look like, while typing.

Maybe there should be a greeter postion, to people that join the forums. They send a PM to the newcomers. They'll see our forums are friendly because they actually see someone cares about them.
