That, or they simply survived long enough. Unless GCat stopping the kernel prototyping instantly made the world belong to the Condesce.

My take. Doc Scratch served Lord English. Bec served Jade. GCat probably just wants to cause mischief, being a cat. He stopped Jane from prototyping, which has unseen seen effects. He also brought Roxy and Dirk to the future, presumably, as they both kind of disappeared.
Meanwhile, years in the future, but not many, the Black Queen has taken over Earth.

Well, it didn't happen on pre-scratch Earth, but on post-scratch Alternia the exiles had a thriving community.

Also, the fact that Jane didn't prototype her kernel. I'm guessing that GCat plans to prototype the kernel with a dead Jane, if that makes any sense, seeing as the kernel moved close to Jane before the meteor hit.

And a question to everyone: who is your favorite kid at this point? Mine is Jake, I guess cause he reminds me of John and Jade at the same time. Which is awesome.

Technically, that wasn't the Black Queen; it was the Condesce. But I guess she is the queen through world-domination-scratch-avoiding shenanigans. Also, I like Jane. Mainly for her foolishness with the jakestakes, and because Nannasprite was awesome. Hmmm, Roboslick. Or Noirbot. Still as stabby as ever.

Here is my theory. Ms. Paint was used to create the universe. If she is killed, the universe cannot be created, would then rip itself apart. This means that she is the equivalent of Snowman.
