Where can I see the new episodes? I tried Nick's site, but it asked for an account and I don't feel like making one.

so after all this buildup, it turns out our villains are still just 2-dimensional "destroy the world to rebuild it" anarchists. fun

also, i did't know it was a requirement for all voice actors on this show to show absolutely no emotion

Yeah, just like Amon was just 2-dimensional "eliminate benders and rebuild the world"

Oh wait, we learned more about his backstory later on in the season. We don't know everything about the villains yet. Wait 'till the season is over.

What Zaheer says they want and what all of them want may not be the same thing. In any case, it's hilarious how the Earth Queen's forces have taken Hannibal Lecter-like precautions with the Avatar.

yeah and when we got amon's backstory it was forcefed to us in the second-to last episode (and i personally didn't feel it was particularly interesting backstory)

but at least amon felt threatening. taking away everyone's bending. these guys... just feel like common outlaws, honestly. besides "capture the avatar", there's nothing they've done. and we've already exhausted our "capture the avatar" plotline with zuko

So, yeah, Zahir and the Red Lotus are anarchists. Great.

Although, to be fair, we still don't know what they want Korra to do for them when they manage to kidnap her.

And hey, the Earth Queen! I was wondering when that subplot would show up again. It seems like Zahir and the Earth Queen are playing a "who's the REAL main villain for this season" game.

Don't judge me, the episode was leaked.

Anyway, nothing of significance happened except that Korra escaped, and ZAHEER USED AIRBENDING TO ASPHYXIATE THE EARTH QUEEN. Afterwards, Ghazan (the lavabender) blew a huge hole in Ba Sing Se's wall. Zaheer also released all of the Earth Queen's prisoners, Mako and Bolin among them, telling the latter to give a message to Korra, but what that is is not known.

If you're familiar with KorraSpirit, she has it.

Just watched the episode.

DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD!

But in all seriousness, that was quite a horrifying way to kill the Earth Queen. Did not expect that. I was worried that Bloin was gonna pull a deus ex machiona and metalbend but thank god that didn't happen. I wonder what Zaheer's message was. That image of the walls of Ba Sing Se coming down was awesome and breathtaking.

Nice to see some personality from the villains. I liked the scene with Ghazan talking to Mako and Bolin. Asami is also being useful this season, as opposed to season 2 where she did nothing.

Yay, Zuko's back.

Great episode. I'm continuing to love the pacing of this season. Just the right amount of story arc developments happened here, mixed with episodic goodness to create an absolutely packed episode that didn't feel rushed at all.

I just wish they didn't keep using euphemisms instead of just saying they killed the queen. Characters have talked about killing before on the show, why be all wussy now?

chaos! anarchy! the city has been freed! next time, batman returns to save the city of gotham from ban-

oh wait i'm sorry this is just another boring anarchist plot. not that dark knight rises had a good plot either. but i just can't get over how utterly generic these villains are after being built up so much

You're just finding things to complain about now.

you're right, honestly. complaining about this show is the only thing keeping me interested in it

so like

zaheer killed the queen by making a vacuum bubble around her head

and then while he was doing that he started lecturing her about his ideals or whatever, but

sound doesn't travel in a vacuum

so she didn't actually hear any of it

when it occurred to me, it rapidly converted that scene from a scary one to a hilarious one

If it is a vacuum, then he did a shitty job because she can be heard from inside.

So this is really interesting. A few days ago one of the people who worked on The Last Airbender (movie) posted about why the movie sucked.. In summary:

-The movie was underbudgeted
-Shyamalan's original script was great, but it got ruined by people who hadn't seen the show
-The producers didn't want the movie to be funny
-The Gaang was all white because they were based around Nicole Peltz (Katara), who was put in the movie as a favor from one of the producers

And a bunch of other things. The show really isn't meant for adaption, I'd think, so it's not good that such inexperienced people did it.
