Control the Throne

I do not make deals with fools. I promised chaos, which you and your underlings could watch, but I never said that I would spare any of you. You simply assumed- and assumed wrong. The throne is now in my possession.

I thought we were supposed to just ignore the offending posts? It makes the game go smoother that way, and I'm not even sure who has the throne anymore.
 
I look around and see no one here. Here's the throne. Nobody sits upon it. It's weird, it's strange,
It's awesome!
There may be a new throne, but this the original. This is the real deal. Billions of virtual lives have died for this throne. I walk up to it and sit upon it.

Naw, that new one is stupid. Just because it's "new" and you are limited to long message of throne keeping or what, doesn't really mean anyone has to follow it. Any person can just go in there and say "I kill you all with my bomb. Throne get." And since the throne of the original throne is abandoned, I'll just occupy it, until someone realizes the new throne is a bad idea.

Throne keep until someone cares.

oh yeah guys, in this game, I actually stole the throne a while back, and told you all in invisible text, but none of you even bothered to check

now I've hidden the throne along with like a million other thrones, and not even I know where it is anymore, since I hid like a million of them

you'll never find it, and even if you think you found it, you won't have found it

which basically makes this game over now, if you think about it. I bet you all hate the fact that I godmodded my way through that, and that's what makes the new game much better, the fact that you can't godmod the game, and it actually tells a story instead of just "I kill you throne get" and shit like that.

long story short, rules make the game better, and I don't really see how it's any worse. We basically created a game where it's not about typing in some random shit and saying "oh I got the throne from that for no reason"

Nono, you provide a reason, provided it's not godmodding and rulebreaking. Think of your favourite game, preferably one that has multiplayer. Then think about how it would feel if one person came in and completely ruined the gaming experience by cheating? That's what we wanted to go for here.
 
but thats the thing, its more than a game, its for the fun of doing random stuff to each other to get the thrown

I melt down all the thrones and condense their respective atoms into a single throne, then sit on it, after it cools down
 
I'll give you all a picture of naked Hannah Minx, while you run off to "get a better look at it" i sit on the throne

Yeah, but it makes the game more interesting when there's an actual plot instead of "everyone mindlessly kills each other to get the throne but with more detail". That's what this thread is for. Our game is more like a collaborative work of fiction, with protagonists, antagonists, alliances, conflict, etc.

now it's more like a lame talk show instead of the epic quest for the throne that it could have been
 
But whose quest is it? Yours? Mine? Control the Throne II is supposed to be a "Continue the Story" type of game, and a good story (in general) needs to know who its protagonist is. With everyone forming alliances against a mutual threat, it's much easier to figure out where we're going.
 
Well, not anymore there isn't, now everything got messed up and Tantusaur turned into the throne...

Right now I'm waiting for Neptune to post there because I don't think he's said anything since the crazy plot twist. I don't have anything else to add at the moment anyways, to be honest.
