Unpopular opinions about the Mario series

If you see that as arrogance I don't really care.

Anyway, moving on.

I don't know if this is unpopular really but I'd like to see Mario cross over with Kirby at some point besides smash bros.

I'll just plug my controller into fanfiction and start playing it.

But R.O.B. and I aren't on speaking terms right now!

huh-uh no

i refuse to let this conversation drop until you provide some explanation for the fact that you fight with fawful guy about this in every single topic, every single day. you know very well that you're never going to change his opinion or have any other kind of actual impact by doing that. so what's the point?

Its fun. Kills time and occasionally boredom.

Guess you could use the Power Glove too.

That would make it worse!

I thought some of the Mario games had great storylines. Super Paper Mario and Luigi's Mansion are two of my favorite Mario game storylines. Besides, there's no accounting for taste :^)

I find it strange that every time I am one day absent, there are more comments.
....

Anyways, Diddy Kong Racing could had continued or something.

But fanfiction sucks

Even mine
I think I have a talent in writing though but I generally keep it to myself.

How the hell is Bowser more adorable than Yoshi?!

It depends on the portrayal, but most of the time Yoshi is designed to be adorable for the sake of being adorable. It creates a very forced kind of cuteness that can seem unappealing to some people and have the opposite effect instead.
I can't tell you exactly why Yoshi's cuteness doesn't work while Kirby and Toad and Mario's cuteness do work, but this is a good point to start from. I mean, I thought Yoshi was legitimately cute in his N64 artwork but GCN and later just look putrid.

Yoshi is just someone I just want to gouge out his eyes for. I especially hate his voice, in Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Mario Kart 8. They cringe-worthy squeaking and squealing like something that is trying way too hard to be cute.

I want to see at least one of the developers that works on the Mario series almost solely try something new.
I want to see no new plots or anything.
I mean that they should try to work on another series.
Itt: Lumastar suggests Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars 2

That's still Mario. And besides, if a second Mario RPG (which could work if Square allowed it) was to ever happen, it would likely not be called Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars 2.

Mario is one of the only real reasons that they still exist (b/c Super Mario Bros.). Thus they keep making his games for
#1: The millions of fans they have and
#2: To symbolize their history and salute him for existing.
