This is why I don't support Rosalina's playable appearance in Mario Party, 3D World, or Smash Bros. because the roles simply don't suit her, and maybe you don't share the opinion, but I think those roles degenerate her personality.Walkazo said:A real space goddess wouldn't need external help with her engine troubles.
Altho srsface here, I quite liked Rosalina in SMG1 and having Lubba instead of Rosalina was one of the biggest rip-offs about SMG2 (as well as the half-baked plot, even by Mario standards, the boring as hell hub, and the vanilla world/level progression). On the other hand, I actually wish they weren't using her in all the spinoffs: she was so cool and mystical, but now she's just another princess.
Let's be honest now: she's a flipping princess. All but in name.Toy Chica said:I didn't think she was a princess when she was just in Galaxy since her name was just "Rosalina" honestly
But yeah I think she shouldn't be in all the spinoffs besides doesn't she have an observatory to be on?

I'm the opposite: I always call myself a "girl" despite being 23, and even my 54-year-old mom still says she's "hanging out with the girls" when she goes to brunch (and I "hang out with the boys" when I'm with my dude friends, although I usually call them "guys" like how I call my friends "girls"). I would only really consider it negative if it was being used in a way that was meant to be demeaning or patronizing - but then again, "woman" or even "lady" can also be said derisively (or "boy" or "man", for that matter). In general, I just feel that context matters more than a given word - aside from slurs, of course, where the word being used at all is all the context you need.Mario Party X said:Anyway, I don't like it when people refer to Peach, Daisy, or Rosalina as "girls". Or any sort of fully-grown woman, fictional or not. I do think, though, it's a counterpart to "guy", but the term just sounds so demeaning/patronizing for women. But maybe it's my feminist me speaking again.

Seems kinda pointless if it only really does things if Starlow's around to amplify it.
