Unpopular opinions about the Mario series

Daisy should never be a damsel in distress again, that's not her personality.

Daisy's main outfit should be her sports one

But, she is a princess and she is prettier in her dress outfit.

Then she's not doing a great job as a tomboy.

It's fun watching him die and hear Takashi Nagasako make those weird wretching barfing noises.

DK is a good guy!

I've said this before, but Donkey Kong should be the bad guy. That, was the reason.

Wish he wasn't. He's the only reason I don't play Donkey Kong platformers. I like Diddy Kong way more, but playing as Ass Kong triggers somewhat of a gag reflex that prevents me from enjoying the game.

The second and third games don't have DK at all. You could always play those.

Yeah, I should perhaps play Diddy's Kong Quest but I don't have an SNES and I have other games in mind to play right now.

Well, on a related note, Baby Luigi being kidnapped is incredibly distracting whenever I attempt to play Yoshi's Island. I think for Donkey Kong Country 2, we could ignore that.

Captain Toad and Toad are the same disgusting, filthy dumb... thing. The only difference is that Captain wears more clothes.

I can easily make a list of 10 Mario characters that I believe are more deserving to be in Smash than that creature.

-Paper Luigi

-Toadsworth

-Any characterized Toad that lacks the annoying voice of the generic one

Honestly I think Paper Mario is the only character there that's even remotely deserving.

And even then he falls flat compared to Captain/Toad.

I think the creature has more legit reasons, but I also like him a lot too. It's too bad I can't say Yoshi shouldn't be in.
