Unpopular opinions about the Mario series

Just keep teleporting and spamming lightning.
 
Takes a whole lot of energy for that.
 
Good thing video game characters don't get tired.
 
They have magic points and energy. And besides, the good guys will learn the patterns anyway.

Better yet, they should just team up to defeat Bowser or something.

Why would Wario go up there for eggs when there's tons of treasure up there?
 
It was funny the first time, on repeat playthroughs it's a waste of time.
 
NSMBU+NSML is the best 2D Mario game in my opinion.
 
I think the Super Mario World credits theme is an underrated gem in the series.
 
I think Yoshi's New Island has a few good songs. People only think of Yoshi Clan though when they think of the game's music.

Course I haven't played the game but I watched videos of it and I like the ending theme.

Also, Sticker Star has a higher percentage of good songs than Super Paper Mario (because it doesn't have any overly creepy songs like River Twygz Bed) SPM still has more songs that are memorable to me however.

Paper Mario TTYD has better instruments than SPM but less memorable tunes (though it still has some great ones, like We Believe in You Mario and Rawk Hawk Battle). SPM is the opposite: slightly worse soundfont but more memorable melodies.

Sticker Star's final battle theme (after using Kersti) is my second favorite in the Paper Mario series.

And here's one that's not music-related: Instead of Yoshi being playable in SM64 DS, he should have been rideable with Waluigi being the fourth character.
 
SPM's music sucked

all the songs were either annoying and wouldn't stop going through my head OVER AND OVER AND OVER or they were just outright dull and unmemorable
 
Mario party (mainly the first three) used to have better music than Paper Mario I feel.
 
PM 64 has the best Bowser themes.
