I don't think I understand your point.

You want to keep them as separate characters, but hide them in a folder that only appears when you select Bowser Jr.?

Here's a roster from a game with a bunch of characters, and here's how they handle it:

I think it's far better to do that than add pages because you'll have to tirelessly scroll through them to find what you want

But please, keep them as alts. It makes no sense that putting on a cat suit or tanuki suit suddenly makes you lighter.

I firmly believe the amiibos should unlock costumes for the character portrayed than something for *bleep*ing Miis.

Wouldn't it be cool if the Wario amiibo unlocked the biker Wario costume for Wario or a Dr. Mario amiibo unlocked a Dr. Mario costume for Mario?

Mario in a Sonic suit would be Sonic Mario, just like Tanooki Suit is Tanooki Mario so it wouldn't be reversed.

Well I don't know anything so I just searched "game with largest roster", with results about a Dragon Ball fighter game with a lot of pictures, and I don't know what's real and fake. Care to show me a roster image of the aforementioned game, if you don't mind and please correct me?

the largest roster DBZ game I know of is Budokai tenkaichi 3 with just under 200
