Unpopular opinions about the Mario series

I'd like to see Junior ordering Koopa Kids to do things or there can be identity shenanigans with Koopa Kids and Baby Bowser.

I want to see Bowser Jr. interact with Baby Bowser for the amusement their subtle personality differences would cause.
And for Bowser to not recognize his own son for the second time.

Mario Party 2 was the worst Mario Party game.
Even worse than pretty much anything 9 onwards?

All Mario parties are bad.

Frankly, the 1st Mario Party is arguably the worst, especially with its Control Stick rotation minigames. Tug o' War should've stayed dead, and yet it's returning in the Top 100.

As for Mario Party 2, the Mini-Game Coaster is just insane.

Yeah but those are only minigames, not the general gameplay (which is the big issue with the latest Mario Party games).

A couple of rotating minigames > The car.

I think liking Wendy a lot is quite unpopular as well, most people don't seem to like her. She's my second favourite Koopaling though, I only prefer Roy. I think though the way I rate the Koopalings is generally pretty unpopular:
Roy
Wendy
Ludwig
Iggy, Larry and Lemmy (All tied)
Morton

I like how Iggy, Larry and Lemmy are tied (and are the most similar to each other IMO, just like Morton and Roy) but Morton and Roy are on opposite ends :P

Is it because of Color Splash Morton?

Never played Colour Splash, so I don't know what any of them are like in that game. We just don't like Morton but really like Roy. No clue why.

Bowletta was and still is a terrible idea.

Daisy can be in Smash Bros without sharing any moves with Peach.

What I think'd be cool in Smash Bros. would to see Daisy and Waluigi added, and I think the best way to give them a different moveset would be to have them each as a representative for a certain series. Waluigi could have a range of sport-based ones, as he was invented for tennis, so tennis rackets, golf clubs, footballs, etc.. Daisy can then represent Mario Kart and wear her bike outfit so she can be more distinctive from any Peach palette swaps, and have stuff like shells, super horns and something similar to the Wario Bike move. I would love to see them in Smash like that. And maybe have Peach and Rosalina's bike outfits as palette swaps.

Or she can have a Sarasaland related moveset, like toss super balls or something?

I find it frustrating how hypocritical it is that so many people get mad about Pink Gold Peach, but are willing to give Metal Mario a pass.

Speaking of which, I don't really mind Pink Gold Peach. My only real frustration is the whole "pink gold" thing, and it's only because my nitpicky brain gets frustrated by the whole "how can something be pink and gold?" paradox.

I don't hate the remake but superstar saga shouldn't have been remade

Bowletta is art. Horrifying art, but art nonetheless.

Pink Gold is actually a thing.
As for the whole double standard thing, I suppose it's because, technically speaking, Pink Gold Peach doesn't exist as a powerup form (I guess she's Peach with a Gold Flower?) Metal Mario has precedence because of Smash and Mario Golf.

It's not really much of a hypocritical, it's mostly because Pink Gold Peach got pulled out of the ass of developers, while Metal Mario actually has prior history with the Mario franchise.

I just don't like how in my view it ruins 2 characters in one motion.

It's Bowser without Bowser and Cackletta without any of the traits that made her notable.

I'd rather they have just remained separate.

Battle-wise, I agree with you since she barely does anything different from Bowser.
Otherwise, Cackletta's most notable trait, in my eyes, is her freaky appearance and Bowletta nails that painfully well.

Well for me her notable shtick was her magic powers and how she'd personally go from place to place using her powers to get shit done.

Once she became Bowletta that basically changed and after she loses Peach she completely goes full Bowser, using his castle and military to conquer things by force which is definitely more a Bowser thing.
