Unpopular opinions about the Mario series

NSMBWii and U aren't that much better, but yeah, I like all of those - plus both Lands and every 3D platformer - more than SMB3. Sorry, but it's just one of those games I could never get into.

Sure, I stink at it, but SMB3 is not worse than those titles. The only one that I can say that I like significantly more is 3D World (I love cats!).

Hey I love Super Circuit more than the average person but even I don't think it's the best game ever.

Pretty sure pretty much everyone agrees that yoshi's island bosses are superior to most 2D Marios.
 
Mario Party Advance is actually not that bad. I had fun playing it. Shroom City is a great idea for a single-player mode, the Gaddgets are cool, you can change the title screen, there are quite a few lesser known characters in the game, the Bowser encounters are fun (except for like one), and gambling is fun. It's better than Island Tour despite that game being more traditional? Why? Because Island Tour was rushed out the door. Only a couple of the boards are really good, Bowser Tower has no ending, the collectibles suck, none of the minigames are exactly memorable, the bosses are so easy it's not funny, and the game just feels like a cash-in.

As for Mario Party Advance, easily my least favorite Mario Party. I even enjoyed the Mario Party 9 demo more.
